Lake Vaskna is 244 meters above sea level, which is why it can also be called a 'mountain lake'. According to legend, the gold of the Swedes from the times of the Northern War has been buried in Vaskna. It is said that a marked stone indicates the location of the gold.There is a campfire site next to the lake, offering a wonderful view of the local dome landscape. There is also a camping site and a swimming spot. Up to ten four-person tents can be put up at the camping site. There are benches, a table, a shelter, a cabin for changing clothes, and a barbeque spot.

Karumetsa Apartment is situated 6 km from Otepää in a picturesque location in the middle of forests and it is only 500 metres away from a small lake.Karumetsa Apartment has four guest apartment that can accommodate five to seven people. All the apartments are spacious and have a balcony, a kitchen, a TV, a sitting corner and a bathroom. The building has a sauna and a hall that also has a kitchen. There are storage spaces for bicycles and ski equipment on site.Bicycle roads start nearby, the Väike-Munamägi Ski Centre is 4.5 km away and the Tehvandi Ski Stadium 5 km away.

Led by an experienced guide with a forager's soul, we will hike to places where you can find Estonian nature's top delicacies, like blueberries and cranberries. We will learn how to find these berry and mushroom spots, what to pick, what to leave in the forest, and how to preserve berries and mushrooms for the winter. The trips take place from mid-July to mid-October. At the end of the trip, we will prepare a delicious dish from the natural products we have picked over a campfire in the forest. Hellenurme Mill Museum in Southern Estonia is the last operational historical watermill in Estonia and one of the few examples of a water-powered mill as industrial heritage in the Nordic countries. Visiting the mill feels like a trip back in time. Visitors can see century-old equipment across four floors of the mill, from the turbine to the milling machines and millstones, which still grind rye into bread flour. In the bread house, the mill hostess offers guests traditional Estonian rye bread made on-site and shares stories that bring the everyday life of centuries past to life. The large mill building of Hellenurme Manor, built in 1880 in Tartu County, hides surprises at every step. In addition to the working mill, guests can enjoy workshops and meals in the bread house. It is possible to stay overnight in the freshly renovated mill chambers, which offer views of the river and lake. Visitors can admire the lake's beauty and the surrounding nature.Here, you can also enjoy cultural events and celebrate festive moments with friends, family, or colleagues.

The camping site has places for 50 caravans. The total area of our caravan site is 2500 m². Every vehicle has access to one power outlet. For our guests there is also a service house with showers, toilets, sinks, washing machine and a stove. We have fresh water supply and toilet emptying options. Reception is open from 8 a.m until 9 p.m. If needed, you may use our telephone and internet. The whole camping site has WiFi.
