Torma Holiday House is located in the small town of Torma in Jõgeva County, in a former farmhouse belonging to a manor complex. We have fresh air and pure nature, cosy accommodation, a good sauna, and an overall nice private place. Here, you can choose between different sizes of rooms, either a single or a shared room or even a family room. And if you prefer to sleep in a tent, we've got options for that as well. We have 5 glamping tents waiting for you in our wonderful garden. In addition to accommodation, we also offer the possibility of hosting events with catering.
Located in the manor park of the same name, the Helme caves, are an unrivalled sight in Estonia. Situated to the north of castle ruins, the caves have a white Burtniek layer of sandstone walls standing 3 m high. Unfortunately for cave lovers though, some of the better known caves have already collapsed. Once comprised of seven interlinked chambers, the biggest of which was known as the Church of Moses. Peppered with springs, the caves have a long history; and over the years they have been dug out and used as shelters when needed. Did you know...?: In ancient times the Helme caves were also known locally as the gateway to Hell.Kivialune (under the rocks) was a shelter for Old Estonians during the wars.

We offer accommodation in historic log cabins and Aida rooms, a smoke sauna, a concert hall, a campfire site, swings, and grilling facilities. Larger camps and camping are welcome – the grounds have accommodated over 1000 people at once. Nature enthusiasts can explore the 15 km Piusa River primeval valley hiking trail, enjoying forests, meadows, and riverbanks, ending with the ruins of Vastseliina castle. At the Jõeveere Farm museum, we exhibit local historical artifacts: tools, dishes, embroideries, and much more. A group of up to 15 people can fit at a time – pre-registration is required. Luua Arboretum exhibits about 500 species and forms of trees and bushes. The arboretum was founded based on the principles of botanical geography with the departments for plants from Europe, Siberia, Central Asia, the Far East and North America.
During this workshop exploring the tea culture of the Lake Peipsi region, we will learn about the tea drinking customs of the Old Believers and learn about Ivan Chai (fireweed tea), how it is made, and the role it has played in Peipsiveere villages. The workshop takes place at the Varnja Samovar House, which is located in a traditional Old Believer dwelling. There, you can take a closer look at the use of samovars in households around Lake Peipsi, learn about their history, and enjoy tea with the Old Believers' traditional boiled sugar. Depending on the season, participants can also try making Ivan Chai themselves. In the summer, this is done together with the hostess of Mesi Tare, who guides you through the entire process from picking the plant to drying it. During the autumn-winter period, the focus is on Ivan Chai's history and use, discussing its medicinal properties, traditional tea culture, and tasting a variety of tea flavors.
