Tõrva health trails

Kuningamäe health trails are waiting for you in Põltsamaa, Central Estonia! Three marked trails are open for runners, walkers, and cyclists: 1.1, 1.5, and 5 km.At the beginning of the trail, there is a health trail map, a stretching wall, a bike rack, and a parking area for cars. There is also the Kuningamäe Disc Golf Park. In winter, lighted ski trails are open on Kuningamäe.

The skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks in Haanja are suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike. The skiing tracks are 1 km, 2 km, 3 km and 5 km long. By the stadium there is also a sledding slope which kids and adults will love. Lit skiing tracks run for 2 km and 3.2 km and are open until 21:00. Next to the recreation centre is a shooting range for biathlon lovers. The centre also rents skis, has changing facilities and a sauna, and a cafe for those looking to recharge their batteries. Outside of the skiing season the tracks in Haanja are ideal for cycling and hiking.

The hike takes us through the beautiful Emajõe-Suursoo bog, where we spend the night in the wilderness on a secluded bog island. In the evening, we will prepare dinner on a camp stove, using as many seasonal forest products as possible. We will spend the night in hanging beds with a magnificent view of the sunrise! In the morning, we will have a light meal, take down camp, and hike across the bog to the end point. A local guide leads the hike, which includes the guide's service, equipment (bog shoes, hanging bed, camp stove), and meals (breakfast and dinner). Bring your pet along! Tartu Snow Park offers a total of eight hectares of sled and tube tracks – a true snow paradise. There are seven snow tube tracks at the Tartu Snow Park, all of which have different speeds and lengths and therefore, they are suitable for toddlers, teenagers, and adults. Come and spend some lovely time with family, friends, or by yourself. We also have a sledding slope where you can ride your sledge for free. Do not waste your day indoors. Instead, come and enjoy the winter with us!

Lähte ski trails are located in Lähte small town, 15 km from Tartu.Ski trails are accessible 24 h for free. Lähte has four ski trails in varying lengths: 5 km, 2.5 km, 2 km and 1 km. During the winter, the ski trails are lit until 9 pm. You can also use a 1.25 km trail with artificial snow. Next to the trails, you find a watch tower. Showers are available in Lähte sports hall nearby.

The popular Väike-Munamäe Ski Resort, or Munakas, which slopes offer enjoyment for athletes and challenges and possibility to improve one's skills for beginners. Eight slopes, all with various length and descent ensure excitement and security at the same time. There are two hills with T-bar lifts and a hill for children as well. The longest slope is 630 metres. In addition to sporting possibilities there is equipment rental, ski service, restaurant Munaka Resto and various events. Munaka hill tickets are valid on Kuutsemägi hill as well.In summer you can enjoy nature views while riding the chairlift, hurry down the hill on a bike or rent an E-bike. Kuutsemäe, the most attractive and compact mountain sports centre in Estonia, offers leisure opportunities during all seasons. By today, the centre has proved its sustainability, and since 1991, it has been the only mountain skiing and snowboarding centre in Estonia that operates without interruption. The Taevaskoda (Heaven’s Halls) hiking trails offer experiences at every step, regardless of the season and weather. During the hike, we might see a kingfisher while the guide tells legends about the outcrops of Taevaskoda and helps participants recognise the places where the movie Viimne reliikvia was filmed. We will also discuss the relationship between nature and humans over the years. We will agree on the length and theme of the hike with the participants.
