Tähtvere Sports Park offers opportunities for sports and leisure for the whole family. In summer, you can run on a paved or soft wood chip track. There are health and hiking trails in the greenery of the arboretum. There is a disc golf park in the middle of the area. In winter, the Sports Park has artificial snow ski trails and sports equipment, including skis, that can be rented during the opening hours under the Song Festival Stage arch. In the Sports Park, you can train in the outdoor gym, use the playground, and test yourself on the BMX cross-country track, mountain bike skill trails, slackline, or climbing wall. Come to Tähtvere Sports Park to spend your leisure time actively!

At the Tehvandi Sports Center, you can meet top athletes from Estonia and around the world, either on training tracks or in competitions all year round. In addition to professional athletes, Tehvandi Sports Center increasingly targets recreational athletes, businesses, and people who want active, athletic holidays or are just looking to relax. We offer a variety of sports opportunities in beautiful outdoor settings, as well as leisure facilities, accommodation, and catering. Come play disc golf, work out at an outdoor gym, or walk the health trails. There are also several international sports competitions to participate in!

In summer you can hike on the Kääriku recreational trails and in winter you can ski along the hills and valleys of the Otepää Upland. All the skiing, running, cycling and hiking trails are signposted, so you will always find your way safely back to the starting point. There are three hiking trails - the Running Track (5 km), the Lakeside Circuit (2.3 km) and the Seinamägi Hill Circuit (4.6 km). The latter is of particular interest to extreme sports enthusiasts. The Kekkonen hiking trail is perfect for cycling, and you can also cycle along the quiet bicycle and pedestrian track between Kääriku and Lake Pühajärv. The Pühajärve electric bike tour takes you to one of South Estonia's most beautiful lake trails, where every turn reveals a new view of the picturesque shoreline, lake islands, and the rolling landscape of the Otepää highlands. It is an ideal destination for both family holidays and nature lovers who appreciate silence, open views, and an authentic natural environment. Trepimäe has been recognized as a natural heritage site, and its natural appearance has been preserved for generations. The forest area hosts a nearly 90-year-old pine forest with lingonberry and blueberry habitats. The area is perfect for walks, nature observation, and at the right time, for berry and mushroom enthusiasts to enjoy quiet foraging trips. The recreation area's beach is suitable for swimming, and visitors have access to picnic and campfire sites, a small camping area, a volleyball court, and an open beach house. There are different attractions for children and young people aged 2–16 in the park.The selection of the attractions was done on the basis that they should offer a lot of activities which are rich in fantasy, demand physical dexterity, and develop physical abilities. The selected toys and constructions are of durable materials and have a modern design.There is a basketball court with two backboards, and two learning tracks for cycling. Additionally, there are some picnic tables and benches so that parents are comfortable while waiting for their children, or they can even organise a picnic.

Otepää is known as the winter capital and the mecca of winter sports. From here, it's easy to go have fun at both Munakas, the Väike-Munamäe ski center, and Kuutsemäe. At ReeDe Villa ski rental located in the center of Otepää, you can rent the necessary equipment for a day or even a week. Võru Sports Centre offers varied exercising opportunities both for grown-ups and children. The sports centre features a full-size athletics hall, ball-game hall, judo hall and gym. In addition there are also necessary storerooms, locker rooms and showers. The sports centre is also accessible to people with physical disability. Next to the Võru Sports Centre there is a full-size stadium, where national and international competitions take place. For spectators, there is a stand seating 396 and a café with a view of the ball games and stadium in the athletics hall.
