Tehvandi Outdoor Climbing Wall

Otepää vald, Valga maakond, 67408

The highest outdoor climbing wall in Estonia, which is 33 m high, belongs to the Tehvandi K90 Ski Jumping Hill Complex. You have to fit to climb all the way to the top, but everyone can have a go! It is a good opportunity for testing yourself and taking risks in a safe environment – our professional team will keep an eye on you! It is a unique sports and tourist facility in the Nordic countries.Bring your friends if you are a beginner, because the support of spectators will spur you on and it is fun to watch the others climb!

Kääriku recreational trails

In summer you can hike on the Kääriku recreational trails and in winter you can ski along the hills and valleys of the Otepää Upland. All the skiing, running, cycling and hiking trails are signposted, so you will always find your way safely back to the starting point. There are three hiking trails - the Running Track (5 km), the Lakeside Circuit (2.3 km) and the Seinamägi Hill Circuit (4.6 km). The latter is of particular interest to extreme sports enthusiasts. The Kekkonen hiking trail is perfect for cycling, and you can also cycle along the quiet bicycle and pedestrian track between Kääriku and Lake Pühajärv. A.Le Coq Sports Hall

Athletes have access to eight sports halls of different sizes and versatile opportunities, as well as a 193 m long running track for both training and competition activities.The sports hall can host spectacular performances, concerts, gymnastics and dance parties, corporate events, and other gatherings. It can also be rented to simply have a nice and sporty time.There is also a café.

Tehvandi Ski Training Track

The 5 km ski track of Tehvandi Sports Centre is covered with artificial snow and invites you to ski classic style or freestyle. The relief of the track is difficult with some dangerous downhill parts and it is therefore more suitable for professionals. The track is lit until 10:00 pm every evening. The 10 km Tehvandi hiking track is more suitable for amateurs.

Kütioru Centre

Come and discover the charm of Kütiorg – Estonia’s largest and deepest valley in Haanja Nature Park offers experiences in every season!Kütiorg Centre combines beautiful nature, active leisure and cosy accommodation – here, adrenaline meets peace, sport meets relaxation. In winter, all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts are welcome. The valley features 7 slopes, so everyone can find their favourite. There are 4 ski lifts. Artificial snow is produced, so winter fun can last until spring. In summer, you can hike the longer (9.6 km) or shorter (2.8 km) Kütiorg trail, enjoy the lake with a SUP board or water bike, and play volleyball or badminton. It’s also a great place to organise summer days, corporate events, birthdays and other celebrations. The main building houses a café and equipment rental. We also offer accommodation and relaxing sauna experiences. In Kütiorg, sporting challenges meet natural wonders – an ideal place for families, friends and groups. Take a break, enjoy movement, and admire the best views in Southern Estonia!

Tähtvere Sports Park health trails

Tähtvere Sports Park offers opportunities for sports and leisure for the whole family. In summer, you can run on a paved or soft wood chip track. There are health and hiking trails in the greenery of the arboretum. There is a disc golf park in the middle of the area. In winter, the Sports Park has artificial snow ski trails and sports equipment, including skis, that can be rented during the opening hours under the Song Festival Stage arch. In the Sports Park, you can train in the outdoor gym, use the playground, and test yourself on the BMX cross-country track, mountain bike skill trails, slackline, or climbing wall. Come to Tähtvere Sports Park to spend your leisure time actively!

Ronimistehas

Ronimistehas is the first independent climbing hall in Southern Estonia.Beginners and advanced climbing enthusiasts are welcome to climb at the Ronimistehas alone or with a larger group. We also organise weekly training courses, various workshops, children's birthdays, and other events.The ticket can only be purchased from the Ronimistehas online store and there are no on-site ticket sales. You can climb for as long as you want, the price of the sauna is also included.Premium card holders can climb 24/7.

Võru Sports Centre

Võru Sports Centre offers varied exercising opportunities both for grown-ups and children. The sports centre features a full-size athletics hall, ball-game hall, judo hall and gym. In addition there are also necessary storerooms, locker rooms and showers. The sports centre is also accessible to people with physical disability. Next to the Võru Sports Centre there is a full-size stadium, where national and international competitions take place. For spectators, there is a stand seating 396 and a café with a view of the ball games and stadium in the athletics hall.

Tehvandi running and Nordic walking trail

The 5 km running, imitation and Nordic walking trail for trainings is accessible from the upper car park of Tehvandi main building near the stadium and next to the gate of the maintenance house; the trail starts in the middle of the rise of Kunimägi ski track and runs along the area of Hobuseraua, Püksisääre and Ansomägi. The trail has a though relief with difficult ascents and complex descents. The trail is partially covered by sawdust and marked with 15 x 15 cm boards of blue arrows. Pay attention when crossing ski scooter tracks!
