Tähtvere Sports Park offers opportunities for sports and leisure for the whole family. In summer, you can run on a paved or soft wood chip track. There are health and hiking trails in the greenery of the arboretum. There is a disc golf park in the middle of the area. In winter, the Sports Park has artificial snow ski trails and sports equipment, including skis, that can be rented during the opening hours under the Song Festival Stage arch. In the Sports Park, you can train in the outdoor gym, use the playground, and test yourself on the BMX cross-country track, mountain bike skill trails, slackline, or climbing wall. Võru Sports Centre offers varied exercising opportunities both for grown-ups and children. The sports centre features a full-size athletics hall, ball-game hall, judo hall and gym. In addition there are also necessary storerooms, locker rooms and showers. The sports centre is also accessible to people with physical disability. Next to the Võru Sports Centre there is a full-size stadium, where national and international competitions take place. For spectators, there is a stand seating 396 and a café with a view of the ball games and stadium in the athletics hall.

Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre disc golf park offers enjoyable active recreation in a beautiful forested park in South Estonia. The 9-basket course is suitable for both first-time players and more experienced disc golfers, offering varied terrain, exciting throws, and a nature-friendly playing experience. For the convenience of visitors, the course starts and ends in the immediate vicinity of the Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre's main building. Disc golf discs can be rented on-site during the center's opening hours, so no prior preparation or personal equipment is required to play. The disc golf park is well-suited for both a short stopover and a longer active day, which can easily be combined with other leisure activities offered by Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre. At Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre, visitors are also welcomed by archery ranges, sports fields, and shooting ranges, as well as accommodation options in the caravan park, hostel, and camping and tent area, offering several opportunities for a longer holiday.
Otepää is known as the winter capital and the mecca of winter sports. From here, it's easy to go have fun at both Munakas, the Väike-Munamäe ski center, and Kuutsemäe. The beautiful Vooremäe health trails in the Kastre rural municipality are open all year round. The trails are perfect for walking, running, cycling, and skiing. The longest skiing track is 8 km long and 4.2 km of it is illuminated until 10 p.m. in the winter. There is a sled hill (also illuminated) and downhill bike tracks and wonderful views.Since spring 2016, it is also possible to play disc golf here (18 baskets).
The Taevaskoda (Heaven’s Halls) hiking trails offer experiences at every step, regardless of the season and weather. During the hike, we might see a kingfisher while the guide tells legends about the outcrops of Taevaskoda and helps participants recognise the places where the movie Viimne reliikvia was filmed. We will also discuss the relationship between nature and humans over the years. We will agree on the length and theme of the hike with the participants.
