Tehvandi health trails

Otepää vald, Valga maakond, 67408

This 1.2 km long health track starts from Kunimäe plateau by the main building at Tehvandi Sports Centre, where there is a gymnastics set with three different attractions, and then winds its way around Kunimäe Hill. There are seven exercise sets along the track designed to develop different muscle groups and balance. The track is marked by green tape.

Hummuli health trail

While hiking at Hummuli health trail everyone can feel like becoming one with nature - silence, peace and nature's voices invite you to come back over and over again.The trail starts from Hummuli Manor School, passes the stadium and runs along the long oak alley to the Väike-Emajõgi river.There are an outdoor gym, discgolf courses, a campfire site for having a picnic, and a boat bridge suitable for fishing at the health trail. Hummuli health trail can be completed by walking, running, riding a bike or skiing in winter. The visitor can choose either the 2.2 km or 2.8 km trail, which are mostly covered with mulch.

Mooska Adventure Trips

Mooska Adventure Trips offer a great opportunity to learn about Võru County's smoke sauna traditions and heritages. From smoking meat in the sauna during winter-time, to the smoking hole lined with stones method used in the summer. A hiking trip to Vällamägi in also available. The 10 km Pühajärve-Kääriku ski track is suitable for skiers and hikers who want to enjoy the magic of winter. It starts either by the Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort or at Kääriku Sport Centre. The 2.5 km Sihva-Kääriku section is lit until 9 pm. The track has a simple relief and is well-suited for amateur skiers. In Kääriku, you can continue your skiing hike on the Kääriku ski tracks of different lengths. You can hire skis in Otepää ski rentals.Come and enjoy the magical landscape of Otepää!

Tehvandi Cycling and Hiking Track

Tehvandi Cycling Track starts from the shooting range end of the stadium and runs along the Tartu Cycling Marathon Track to Ansomäe, then past Kasemets, Kuusemets and Savimägi to Tehvandi Hill and back to the start through Tehvandi Marsh, Lättemägi and the fort. The 5.7 km track offers a good view of the new K90 ski jumping hill in Tehvandi. Most of the track is covered with soil and some parts run though marshes, which makes them rather difficult to tackle. The track is marked with yellow plastic ribbons.

Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre – a winter adventure in Elva's pine forests. Located amidst the beautiful pine forests of Elva, Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre offers numerous opportunities for year-round active recreation. The center is home to the largest and most famous health trail, including the world-renowned Tartu Marathon ski trail, inviting sports and nature enthusiasts to enjoy active leisure time. During winter, visitors can enjoy well-maintained ski trails that start at the Tartu Marathon finish line. The total length of the ski trails on the Tartu Marathon route extends up to 63 km, with 800 meters of illuminated trails, allowing skiing even late in the evening. The ski trails are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. All necessary ski equipment, including rental and maintenance, is easily available at the Elva Ski Lab, located just a short drive away. Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre is an ideal place for an active winter holiday, offering sporting challenges, beautiful nature, and memorable winter experiences for every visitor.
