This ski tour offers an opportunity to experience the Estonian winter in a fun, peaceful way, and no prior skiing experience is required. This is not a classical skiing lesson but rather a relaxing nature trek where you can get accustomed to the movement at your own pace while enjoying the surrounding winter landscape. Small groups create a personal atmosphere, and the guide assists you throughout the journey, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable. All necessary equipment is available on-site, so you don't have to worry about anything. The tour concludes with a warm drink and a small snack, making the experience particularly enjoyable. Additionally, you will have a photo as a souvenir of your first Nordic winter experience on skis. Tours are held in Tartu, Otepää, and Haanja. Suitable for solo travelers, couples, and small groups seeking something new and memorable.

The Lüllemäe snowboard and ski hill is located in a naturally beautiful place, marked by the National Geographic yellow frame.The hillside is waiting for all those who enjoy winter. Visitors can use a snow tube track with a cable car.Downhill skiing training takes place on site under the guidance of instructors. Equipment can be rented on site. There are also Lüllemäe ski trails near the hill.Use of sports equipment and the ski lift can be paid for in cash on site.

Tartu Snow Park offers a total of eight hectares of sled and tube tracks – a true snow paradise. There are seven snow tube tracks at the Tartu Snow Park, all of which have different speeds and lengths and therefore, they are suitable for toddlers, teenagers, and adults. Come and spend some lovely time with family, friends, or by yourself. We also have a sledding slope where you can ride your sledge for free. Do not waste your day indoors. Instead, come and enjoy the winter with us!

The starting point of these tracks, which are 4 km from the centre of Võru, is at the ski centre at the Kubija Hotel. The tracks measure 2, 3 and 5 km and are lit until 20:00 from Monday to Friday.

In summer you can hike on the Kääriku recreational trails and in winter you can ski along the hills and valleys of the Otepää Upland. All the skiing, running, cycling and hiking trails are signposted, so you will always find your way safely back to the starting point. There are three hiking trails - the Running Track (5 km), the Lakeside Circuit (2.3 km) and the Seinamägi Hill Circuit (4.6 km). The latter is of particular interest to extreme sports enthusiasts. The Kekkonen hiking trail is perfect for cycling, and you can also cycle along the quiet bicycle and pedestrian track between Kääriku and Lake Pühajärv. Lähte ski trails are located in Lähte small town, 15 km from Tartu.Ski trails are accessible 24 h for free. Lähte has four ski trails in varying lengths: 5 km, 2.5 km, 2 km and 1 km. During the winter, the ski trails are lit until 9 pm. You can also use a 1.25 km trail with artificial snow. Next to the trails, you find a watch tower. Showers are available in Lähte sports hall nearby.

The diversity of sports facilities and beautiful nature bring active people to Kääriku throughout the year.Kääriku Sports Centre was established in 1947 as a study and training centre of the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the University of Tartu. Today, the modern sports centre has a ball hall, tennis and beach volleyball courts, athletics and football stadium, and ski and hiking trails. There is an outdoor swimming pool, the Kekkonen sauna and Green sauna, a sandy beach, and a children's playground by Lake Kääriku. We also offer accommodation, catering, and conference rooms all year round.

In winter, all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts are welcome. The valley features 7 slopes, so everyone can find their favourite. There are 4 ski lifts. Artificial snow is produced, so winter fun can last until spring. In summer, you can hike the longer (9.6 km) or shorter (2.8 km) Kütiorg trail, enjoy the lake with a SUP board or water bike, and play volleyball or badminton. It’s also a great place to organise summer days, corporate events, birthdays and other celebrations. The main building houses a café and equipment rental. We also offer accommodation and relaxing sauna experiences. In Kütiorg, sporting challenges meet natural wonders – an ideal place for families, friends and groups.
