Kanepi vald, Põlva maakond, 63105

The Kooraste cycling trail runs along gravel roads in beautiful pine forests. There are several beautiful lakes and rivers along the trail. The trail is equipped with signs, but a map is required to complete the trail, which can be obtained from the Kiidjärve Visitor Centre or printed from here. The start and end of the trail is at RMK Erastvere office.You can make a fire at the Kooraste Suurjärv, Kooraste Kõverjärv, and Vähkjärv campfire sites on the trail.

Taevaskoja Holiday Centre

Taevaskoja Holiday Centre has its own conference building and a hostel building. The conference building accommodates 26 people in double and triple rooms. Every room has a shower and a toilet.The hostel can accommodate 55 people; the rooms are meant for one to six people. Shower and toilets are shared.Both buildings have free Wifi.We can accommodate up to 81 people indoors. During larger events, you can use our camping grounds.Taevaskoja Holiday Centre is a great place for holding company events, summer and winter retreats, various conferences and seminars, birthday parties, and weddings.We provide high-quality accommodation, catering and organize various hikes.

Nature Tours Estonia overnight bog hike

The hike takes us through the beautiful Emajõe-Suursoo bog, where we spend the night in the wilderness on a secluded bog island. In the evening, we will prepare dinner on a camp stove, using as many seasonal forest products as possible. We will spend the night in hanging beds with a magnificent view of the sunrise! In the morning, we will have a light meal, take down camp, and hike across the bog to the end point. A local guide leads the hike, which includes the guide's service, equipment (bog shoes, hanging bed, camp stove), and meals (breakfast and dinner). Bring your pet along! Come and experience an unforgettable Estonian bog hike!

Fishing trips on the River Võhandu and Lake Peipus

We will be fishing on the River Võhandu, the western shore of Lake Lämmijärv or on Lake Peipus around Piirissaare. The fishing trips on a four-seater motorboat take place with an experienced boat captain and a fisherman. We will take along safety equipment.The prices start from 100 euros per day.You should take along your own fishing equipment, but we can also rent it for an extra fee. If you want to fish on your own, we can rent fishing rods and four-seater boats with safety equipment.

Rähni House

Rähni home accommodation is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood about 1.5 km from the centre of Põlva.Guests can enjoy a detached two-story house with separate entrances. The rooms and sauna are located in an area that has a positive effect on people, as many of our guests have admitted. The large adjoined kitchen and living room can be used for preparing meals. The guest house is especially suitable for people on business trips and those on an extended visit. The spacious family room has a study area and separate utility rooms. Central Estonian Art Gallery pART

Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.

Võisiku manor

Võisiku manor was first mentioned in 1558. It was one of the biggest manors in Livonia in the 18th and 19th centuries, stretching from Põltsamaa to Lake Võrtsjärv. There were 52 buildings on the manor originally, some of which we can still see today, and a further 67 in outlying parts of the manor and its mirror factory. Lord of the manor Timotheus Eberhard von Bock, who drew up Russia's first constitution for Emperor Alexander I and was sent to the Schlüsselburg fortress for 9 years for doing so, is the central character in Estonian author Jaan Kross' novel "The Emperor's Madman". Did you know...? *Today the main building houses Võisiku Nursing Home and can only be viewed from the exterior

Veski Pub

Veski Pub in Antsla is a great place to have a meal in north-western Võru County. The cosy pub offers delicious dishes, and there is a different daily menu from Monday to Friday. Bumblebee Forest House

Kimalase Metsamajas is fresh forest air, birdsong, and seclusion from the big world on the edge of Estonia. The cottage and sauna are located by the largest lake in Haanjamaa - Lake Hino - in a grove. The cozy log cabin in the Misso area offers a private retreat for a family or a smaller group. The sauna is available for an additional fee, and after a steam, you can head straight into the water from the lakeside. At Lake Hino, you can go boating, fishing, or enjoy a summer swim.
