Tähtvere Sport Park, located in Tartu's Supilinn area, offers activities for everyone and is ideal for an active day. The sports park has several trail options: an 850-meter asphalt roller track for rollerblading and roller skiing in summer, an 850-meter woodchip running track, and a 1.2 km sprint track. In winter, both the roller track and the sprint track are covered with artificial snow and maintained with a trail tractor, allowing skiing in both classic and freestyle techniques even when natural snow is scarce. One of the most important and internationally known parts of Tähtvere Sport Park is the Tartu Bike Park, which features four key facilities: a skatepark, a pump track, a BMX cross track, and a bike park. These pose challenges for both experienced riders and those trying cycling for the first time. The sports park also offers a variety of exciting activities, including an outdoor gym with different areas, a climbing wall, and slackline tracks. The Tartu Song Festival Grounds and Tähtvere disc golf park are also near the park.

Located next to the community of Misso, Pullijärv is a nice place to spend some time. If you don't feel like swimming, you can hike around the lake: the 3.6-kilometer-long trail is just the right length for the whole family. The trail rises here and there too: boys used to do ski jumps from its highest point onto the lake in winter.The trail begins and ends at the RMK Pullijärv rental hut, which is located on the north shore of the lake. In spring and fall, the trail can be really wet.

Lake Põlva and its beach offer a variety of opportunities for active recreation and plenty of options for enjoying the water. By the lake you will find playgrounds, skateboarding and rollerblading areas and walking tracks. What makes the lake unique is the light installation on its island, where 150 different coloured lanterns light up the sky when darkness falls.

Tartu Pioneers' Alley is an alley of footprints by Tasku Centre, on the side of Riia Street, which values the people who have contributed to the development of Tartu and encourages others to walk in their shoes.The alley was established in 2010 when the sculptor Bruno Kadak installed bronze footprints there. Each autumn, a new set of footprints is added to the alley.

Located amidst the beautiful pine forests of Elva, Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre offers numerous opportunities for year-round active recreation. The center is home to the largest and most famous health trail, including the world-renowned Tartu Marathon ski trail, inviting sports and nature enthusiasts to enjoy active leisure time. During winter, visitors can enjoy well-maintained ski trails that start at the Tartu Marathon finish line. The total length of the ski trails on the Tartu Marathon route extends up to 63 km, with 800 meters of illuminated trails, allowing skiing even late in the evening. The ski trails are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. All necessary ski equipment, including rental and maintenance, is easily available at the Elva Ski Lab, located just a short drive away. Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre is an ideal place for an active winter holiday, offering sporting challenges, beautiful nature, and memorable winter experiences for every visitor.

Athletes have access to eight sports halls of different sizes and versatile opportunities, as well as a 193 m long running track for both training and competition activities.The sports hall can host spectacular performances, concerts, gymnastics and dance parties, corporate events, and other gatherings. It can also be rented to simply have a nice and sporty time.There is also a café.

By the way, our mango cake has been awarded the Mulgi Märk (Mulgi label). We are open by appointment only, but we take orders 24/7.

The basketball court next to the Kalevipoeg Museum transforms into an ice skating rink in winter, which can be used 24/7. If you don't have your own ice skates, you can rent them from the museum from Wednesday to Sunday at 10:00-17:00.Ice skating at our rink depends on the weather and ice conditions, so it is best to call ahead and ask about the ice conditions. There are lights by the ice skating rink, providing a cosy illumination even in the evening darkness.Ice skating can also be part of a birthday/party. Catering can also be arranged and rooms can be rented in the community centre or museum. Additionally, you can go sledging and tubing in winter when there's snow.
