Lähte health track

Lähte health track, located 15 km from Tartu, is open 24 h; tracks are lit until 10 pm.Lähte has tracks in various lengths that can be used for skiing, running, Nordic walking and bicycling. The longest track is 5 km long. Health track starts from the watch tower near Lähte sports hall.

We organise paintball and airsoft battles on one of Estonia’s largest arenas which is specifically designed for these games. Vudila Playland

Vudila Playland has a large outdoor water park with a three-tier slide and a tube, saunas, swings, climbing attractions, trampolines, sky-jump, bumper cars, adventure trails, ATVs, electronic games, paddle boats, water bikes, a large playroom, animals, horse riding, and more. Vudila also offers catering and you can fish for trout here. These large and comfortable rafts (including a BBQ raft) have 15 hp engines that will take you far. Once you take to the wheel on the River Emajõgi and on the waterways of Peipsiveere (which you will), you will feel as if you are exploring the Amazon! Endless marshlands, the gently winding river, the strange sounds of nature that could be straight out of the jungle, and finally, a warm campsite in the Raft Building.Rafting is perfect for corporate events (summer days) and groups of friends (birthdays). Tartu Toy Museum

Tartu Toy Museum, situated in the Old Town of Tartu, takes adults back to the brighter days of their childhood and offers children plenty of interesting things to see and do.The permanent exhibition displays toys that Estonian children have played with throughout the years. Artist-made dolls, souvenir dolls of different nations, and Finno-Ugric traditional toys are also exhibited. Playrooms and workshops are also open. You can see puppets from Estonian puppet films and temporary exhibitions in the outbuilding. The museum also has a theatre building named ’Teatri kodu’ (The Home of Theatre) with a theatre hall, a museum of puppets, and a children’s studio.

Männikjärv hiking trail

Männikjärv hiking trail offers wonderful views of Lake Männikjärv and the bog surrounding it. The hiking trail enables you to walk through a boreo-nemoral forest; the 2.2 km trail is suitable for a beginner. The trail is marked with red signs on trees, and it takes about 1 hour to complete it.Good to know:- During high water, parts of the bog are impassable.- For staying at Männikjärv, organising a public event for more than 20 people and driving an all-terrain vehicle, you must first apply for a permit from the manager of the protected area – Estonian Environmental Board.

Accommodation in a boat house by Lake Peipus

Mesi tare guesthouse offers the opportunity to spend the night in boat houses located on the shores of Lake Peipus. You can choose between 5 boat houses. The boats are in different sizes, all with a large double bed in the bow, a seating area, and a kitchenette equipped with electricity and a mini-fridge. There is outdoor seating next to the boat and a campfire site with barbecue facilities. At the beach you'll find a sand-bottom swimming area.Various old boats have been brought to life offering a romantic and authentic accommodation. You can watch the nature's starry sky TV, view the club-rush channels, the moon gleaming in the sky and swans, seagulls, ducks, or nosy foxes as a part of nature's special programmes.

Emajõe river shore path

The 4-km Emajõe river shore path starts from the Turu bridge between River Emajõgi and Anne channel, and it runs on the Natura 2000 protection area and offers spacious views of the Anne channel, River Emajõgi, ship and boat traffic, and Karlova harbour.The hiking trail features information boards, riverside picnic areas, and several bridges, you can also meet hobby fishermen there. During spring, the path may be flooded and provides an opportunity to enjoy the views of the flooded meadow. When the trail ends, you can walk the same way back. Another option is to turn left to the gravel road, which leads to the Ihaste cycling and walking road.
