The basketball court next to the Kalevipoeg Museum transforms into an ice skating rink in winter, which can be used 24/7. If you don't have your own ice skates, you can rent them from the museum from Wednesday to Sunday at 10:00-17:00.Ice skating at our rink depends on the weather and ice conditions, so it is best to call ahead and ask about the ice conditions. There are lights by the ice skating rink, providing a cosy illumination even in the evening darkness.Ice skating can also be part of a birthday/party. Catering can also be arranged and rooms can be rented in the community centre or museum. Additionally, you can go sledging and tubing in winter when there's snow.
The GMP Clubhotel is an exclusive apartment hotel in Otepää, on the shore of Lake Pühajärve. Mehikoorma Lighthouse is located on the west coast of Lake Lämmijärv in the south end of Lake Peipus. The first data from the beacons located in Mehikoorma, which showed the shipping route to Piirissaare towards north and to Sausaare towards south, date back to the First World War. By 1929, a beacon with a blinking light had been installed in Mehikoorma. The wooden beacon was replaced with a lighthouse built of reinforced concrete in 1938. The lighthouse, which is 15 m high and 3 m in diameter, worked on acetylene energy. Mehikoorma Lighthouse, with its 15 m of height, is the highest lighthouse of Lake Peipus. Visitors can only see the lighthouse from the outside.

Tähtvere Sport Park, located in Tartu's Supilinn area, offers activities for everyone and is ideal for an active day. The sports park has several trail options: an 850-meter asphalt roller track for rollerblading and roller skiing in summer, an 850-meter woodchip running track, and a 1.2 km sprint track. In winter, both the roller track and the sprint track are covered with artificial snow and maintained with a trail tractor, allowing skiing in both classic and freestyle techniques even when natural snow is scarce. One of the most important and internationally known parts of Tähtvere Sport Park is the Tartu Bike Park, which features four key facilities: a skatepark, a pump track, a BMX cross track, and a bike park. These pose challenges for both experienced riders and those trying cycling for the first time. The sports park also offers a variety of exciting activities, including an outdoor gym with different areas, a climbing wall, and slackline tracks. The Tartu Song Festival Grounds and Tähtvere disc golf park are also near the park.
Elistvere study trail is located in Elistvere village, Tartu County. The trail is 2 km long back and forth and starts at the Elistvere Animal Park. At the end of the study trail you will find the magical Lake Elistvere with an observation tower offering a great view to the flora surrounding the lake and animals running in the bushy greenery. The information boards at the road help the visitors and there are several observation platforms. The trail can be completed in a wheelchair and with a children's stroller as well.The study trail can be accessed only during the opening hours of the animal park. The animal park has an entrance fee.
The night hike with lanterns is an adventure! The guided hike with lanterns is a great idea for celebrating a birthday, a corporate event, an outing with friends or family or introducing Estonian nature to guests. Spend the romantic hours of twilight with the lantern hike on a bog's boardwalk or on snowshoes. The hike with lanterns can last from 1.5 to 4 hours. Book the Forest Restaurant's catering for the end of the hike. You can also go on the night hike with kicksleds or snowshoes. Ask for suggestions on hiking areas, routes and beautiful campsites! The hikes take place all over Estonia. Minimum group fee is 300 € (up to 10 people.
