A la carte restaurant is open for groups on order. At your request, we also organise birthday parties, wedding receptions, banquets and receptions at the restaurant. SPARGEL — the cosy restaurant-gallery is located in the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, where art can be found both on the walls and on the plate.Based on seasonal and local ingredients, we offer an à la carte menu, which offers a selection dishes from rabbit to herring and a range of vegan dishes. Our lunch and monthly specials and themed catering are also very popular. The cosy rooms of the restaurant-gallery can be booked for birthdays, company celebrations, and other events. The restaurant has children’s chairs and menu, and a wonderful two-storey playroom with a slide.The exclusive backyard outdoor cafeteria, surrounded by nature, is open during summer months.

On the quiet Veski Street, on the hillside of Toomemäe, anyone who has a sweet tooth, should pop by the Cake Shop Mandel, where the counter covered with delicious cakes is set in a cosy atmosphere and each piece of furniture and dish has a story to tell.Here, at the cosy cake shop Mandel, mouth-watering pastries are made from the produce of local small farms. In our delicacies, we use unrefined sugars and there are no additives in the cakes of Mandel. Our cosy cafe is waiting for you with delicious coffee and cakes. It is also possible to buy or order our pastries to go. We also make delicious savory and sweet pastries for your party table.

The Onion Road has many layers of flavours. During the tour, we will discover the local culture through all of them. Participants will learn the secrets of Ivan Chai, eat the famous onion pies of Kostja, taste chicory cake and coffee, and drink local craft wines.In addition, we will make a bag with block printing, learn the story of the Old Believers and the Baltic German landlords, and find out how the locals grow onions.It is possible to order the tour with (additional 150 euros) or without a guide.We will choose the dishes and places in accordance with your wishes and the season.

We started our business under the name Sushi Meistrid in October 2014 and we aim to offer quality sushi to our clients.The products of Sushi Meistrid are a perfect example of the westernisation of the Japanese food culture – we have both classic salmon nigiris as well as Estonian makis with sprat, herring, smoked chicken, and ham. The latter are more popular among people who do not usually enjoy sushi as they offer similar flavours with special nuances.
