Water tower of Raadi Manor

The water tower of Raadi Manor dates back to the 19th century. In ancient times, the tower housed the manor clock, which let the manor workers know it was time for lunch. After World War II, the building was used by the Soviet army and was restored in 2002.Inside the water tower is an exhibition of the Estonian National Museum. Visiting the photo exhibition Raadi Through the Ages, which runs along the floors of the water tower, offers not only historical knowledge but also enchanting views of the cosy Raadi Manor Park.The exhibition is open by reservation and a visit to the water tower can be ordered together with the guided tour of the Estonian National Museum ‘Raadi Manor Park Tour’.

Vasekoja party house accommodation

In the former tavern building by the Piusa River, the Vasekoja Guesthouse on the second floor offers comfortable rooms (2 triple and 2 quadruple), shower rooms, and a relaxation and kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle. Outdoors, you can use the shelter and grill. For children, there is a playground with swings, a sandbox, a climbing track, and a volleyball court. You can take a trip on the Piusa primeval valley hiking trail and visit the sights of Võrumaa and Setomaa. The leisure center also has a holiday house with 10 sleeping places and party rooms accommodating 50 people. Good to know: We offer catering upon pre-order.

Pusi Holiday Home

Welcome to Pusi Holiday Home, which is located in a beautiful place on the shore of Lake Peipus. The house with a lake view is 45 km from Tartu.Guests can spend time skiing, fishing, or hiking, for example. If you wish, you can use a sauna and rent boats. There is also a kitchenette, a barbecue area, and a smoke oven. Fish enthusiasts are welcome to spend an active holiday here.

Kütioru hiking trail

The hiking trail starts from the parking area near the Kütiorg Holiday Centre. The trail is diverse, with fairly steep and challenging terrain, so it's recommended to allow four to five hours to complete it. Along the trail, hikers get the best view of Estonia’s largest and most powerful ancient valley – Kütiorg – and can explore old mill sites and other cultural heritage landmarks. In the forested slopes of Kütiorg, there are spruce stands over a hundred years old, as well as exceptionally thick and tall aspen trees. Near the starting point of the trail, there is a campfire site equipped with a grill grate. Good to know: Part of the trail passes through private property, where dogs may roam freely.

Pub Mõisa Ait

Pub Mõisa Ait is located in a historical building just on the main street of the town of Võru. We offer a good and friendly service and delicious meals. In summer you can enjoy good food on the terrace in front of the pub. We also have a dining room that can be used for parties for up to 70 persons throughout the year.There is a guesthouse with five rooms on the second floor, housing up to 13 guests.

Wooden house at 24 Lai Street in Tartu

This baroque-style one-storey house, which has an attic floor and a rectangular floor plan, catches your eye when you walk past St. John's Church in Tartu. It is one of the oldest surviving wooden houses in the city. It was constructed from logs in 1725 by Pastor J. Arens Arensite of Nõo upon his return from exile to Russia. It was renovated in 1987.

Soontaga hiking trail

The Soontaga hiking trail is located at Kiidjärve-Kooraste recreation area. The hiking trail runs along the typical Southern Estonian mixed forests and arrives at the Väike-Emajõgi river. The hiking trail, which can be completed on foot, runs in a circle.There are several information boards at the hiking trail, which describe the nature of the area. The beautiful bodies of water at the hiking trail are equipped with bridges. In addition to the hiking trail there is the Soontaga campsite with campfire places at the recreation area.If you visit the hiking trail during the season, you might find forest berries or mushrooms on our journey.

Väike Väerada hiking trail

In Tartu County, near the Elva railway station, the Väike Väerada trail is one of the area's most popular hiking paths.
