The delicious food, elegantly laid tables and pleasant service at the hotel's à la carte restaurant are guaranteed to make you feel good. In summer, you can enjoy the delicacies offered by our chefs on the terrace and admire the magnificent views of Lake Pühajärv.In restaurant we offer the buffet breakfast to all of the hotel guests. A la carte restaurant is open for groups on order. At your request, we also organise birthday parties, wedding receptions, banquets and receptions at the restaurant. The restaurant can seat up to 110 people.

An extraordinary experience for friends or colleagues who appreciate exciting tastes and new experiences. We offer groups an exclusive opportunity to make one wine together (batch of 30 litres). Participants can combine different raw ingredients and techniques to create just the right wine. The winemaker helps and instructs and then, we leave the wine to mature for three to six months. We will design a personal label suitable for each bottle and bottle the finished wine, which we will deliver to you later. The visit also includes a tour of the vineyard and wine cellar.

In the Bread Room one can make their first attempts in baking homemade bread. The Wood Shop’s breadmaster will guide you through the process of the perfect bread dough, and show you all the good ingredients and the secret components to a well risen dough and delicious taste. In the end of the workshop the Bread Room is full of irritatingly good bread baking fragrance. And of course no one is leaving without tasting the outcome of this exciting workshop and you can also take the leaven to go, to keep up the new learned skill of breadmaking. And if later there’s a need for a bread basket, Avinurme Wood-Shop can offer exactly what you need.

Restaurant Wagenküll offers modern comfort in a historic atmosphere, as well as a view of the beautiful castle park. We have an open kitchen, which means the dishes are prepared before your very eyes – the signature dishes of Wagenküll are cooked in a Josper charcoal oven and all year round, we use as much raw ingredients from the forests and farms of southern Estonia as possible. Tasty food and good service are one of the key factors for a great holiday and a successful business trip. The menu is modern but also includes historical dishes characteristic of the castle.

The restaurant of Hotel Karupesa caters for both hotel guests and everyone else. The restaurant is located in the basement of Hotel Karupesa and has 66 seats. A terrace is also opened during the summer season. Guests can have barbeques in the arbour in the hotel’s backyard. There hotel offers several barbeque meals in summer in addition to the usual à la carte menu. We offer special menus to athletes and sports camps. At the cosy Kivi Tavern in Alatskivi you can enjoy the meals on the spot and buy the delicious dishes and excellent flavours to go. We offer pastries, soups, salads, fish and meats cooked in various ways. For example, the menu includes tasty pike fillet patties, pike perch in beer batter and fish burgers as well as wild mushroom and onion dishes. We sell Estonian meat and fish products from the Vasula Meat Packers and Andre Cheese Farm.From Monday to Friday, you can make your selection at the buffet. We also prepare food to order and our expert cooks would be happy to prepare delicious food for your parties!
