The octagonal café in Toomemägi Park is a unique historical landmark, because there was a small lemonade kiosk in exactly the same place from 1879.Lemonade can be bought from the same place, but there is also a great little café where you can take time for yourself, enjoy ice cream, pancakes, roast, or pastries baked in the cafe while enjoying the views of Toomemägi.

The à la carte restaurant of Pesa Hotel is perfect for relaxing and having a business lunch. The 55-seat hall is perfect for corporate events and birthdays. Groups can also choose a more private room (up to 20 people). In summer, the sun terrace is open. Preferably at 5 p.m. (or at other times as an exception), we taste 3 different fermented teas made following the traditional method. These include, in addition to vine leaves and currant leaves, the famous Ivan Chai, which was drunk by both the tsar’s family and the common people, as the tea is known for its excellent taste and healing properties.We will also talk about the local life and ancient times.Fermented teas, home wines, and other Alatskivi edible souvenirs can also be purchased.

How many bees are needed to make one kilo of honey? Does honey always taste the same? How do bees communicate with each other, and how fast do bees fly? How many flowers does a bee visit during a foraging flight? Your questions will be answered at the unique Mesi Tare honey workshop on the Onion Route. We will taste honey and learn how to distinguish between fake honey and real honey! We will discuss how each of us can help protect bees and what threats they face. We will also drink a nice cup of tea, as is the custom of the Old Believers, and explore the impressive samovar collection at the Samovar House. Come and have a treat with your friends and family!

Kivitalu Restaurant Rock Summer is known for its delicious and fresh meals, made with love from ingredients from our farm. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and eat the meat of Kivitalu sheep, as well as pancakes and omelettes made from eggs from our own chicken. We grow potatoes, beetroot, carrots, cucumbers, pumpkins, salads, herbs, garlic, and onions here. Other raw ingredients come from South-Estonian farmers. The restaurant was named after Rock Summer festivals, which were held at Tallinn Song Festival Grounds – our chef Jüri Makarov used to organise them.
