The stable Latrex 450 with a trimaran base has been transformed into a floating motorised tent with the help of a canopy tent, a platform between the seats and seat covers. It is nice to sail with the boat just for fun, catch fish, and spend the night on the water as if you were in a tent.The nearby Emajõe Suursoo is a large network of waterways that fascinates with its wildness, size, picturesque views, swamp inhabitants, abundance of fish, and isolation.With the "Tent boat" it is possible to comfortably camp on water at Suursoo without the need to access RMK campsites. A large mosquito net surrounds the bed of the boat and the tent protects against natural phenomena. Suitable for couples to be alone in nature.
Hämsaare Holiday House is located 4.5 km outside of Võru in the village of Meegomäe on the way to Haanja. Accommodation is provided in a fully renovated 150-year-old log house with six rooms for a maximum of 25 guests. Visitors can choose between two-, three- and four-person rooms. Every room has a shower and toilet. We also have a caravan parking lot and a camping site.Breakfast can be ordered in addition to accommodation. Tartu Town Hall is a symbol of the historical heart of the city, located on Town Hall Square. The building was completed in 1789, combining Baroque and Early Classicism elements. The Baroque bell tower was completed in 1784. Historically, the town hall has served several functions: a prison and a poorhouse (weighing house) were located here, and the council operated on the upper floors. Today, the town hall houses the Tartu city government, an information point, and a pharmacy, which has been located here for more than 100 years. One of the special features of Tartu Town Hall is the carillon in the tower. There are 34 bells, and beautiful melodies sound daily at 9:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, and 21:00.
The Elva primeval valley hiking trail is a 15.5 km long trail located in the Elva landscape protection area with alternating terrain for those who want to hike for several days. On the trail, you will find various forest landscapes, sandstone outcrops, wonderful forest lakes, Viti observation tower, floodplain meadows, trenches, beavers, and the kingdom of ants. There is also a Witch's House and Adventure Trail on the trail.The primeval valley trail starts and ends at the Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre. The scheme of the hiking trail with camping and campfire sites (including the Illi camping area) can be found HERE. Siimusti Ceramics operates from the clay factory, which was founded in 1886 by Joosep Tiimann, a man born from a family of farmers. The location was suitable due to the clay deposits present here. At first the brick manufactury was created; afterwards they started producing oven pots and dishware.Nowadays you can get acquainted with the manufacturing process of ceramics: The pouring of clay into the mold and the firing and glazing processes. The end product can be bought onsite.
Many birds and animals await you at "Talu ja loomad" (Farm and Animals) hobby farm, located in Kulli village in Tartu County! At the farm you can see various birds: chickens, the world's smallest seramas, ducks, turkeys, and geese. Additionally, the farm has goats, sheep, rabbits, chinchillas, hedgehogs, and a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig. You can meet about 300 animals and birds at the farm. The hiking trail that encircles Lake Pühajärv starts near the centre of Otepää Nature Park. The 14 km trail takes you on a voyage of discovery around one of the most unique and beautiful lakes in Estonia. Covering the whole track takes from 3–6 hours. There are rest areas and barbecue sites along the way. Part of the track (approximately 2.2 km) runs along the Pühajärve–Kääriku exercise track by the Otepää–Kääriku highway. You can cover the track by foot or bike. Cyclists must bear in mind that there are parts of the track on which you will have to push your bike instead of riding it. The Angunina, Kiigemäe and Koolirand campfire sites are located on the trail. There, you can make a fire and camp.
