Lake Kubija is in the Kubija district on the outskirts of Võru. There are changing rooms, bathrooms, a boat landing and a diving tower on the beach. A life guard also works on the beach in summer.Kubija Hotel and Nature Spa and Kubija campsite are nearby, and in summer there are moped lanes. The surrounding pine forests provide ski tracks in winter.The lake covers more than 15 hectares but is never more than 5 metres deep. There is good fishing here, with common catches including bream, perch and pike, and occasionally also pike perch and bleak.

There are different attractions for children and young people aged 2–16 in the park.The selection of the attractions was done on the basis that they should offer a lot of activities which are rich in fantasy, demand physical dexterity, and develop physical abilities. The selected toys and constructions are of durable materials and have a modern design.There is a basketball court with two backboards, and two learning tracks for cycling. Additionally, there are some picnic tables and benches so that parents are comfortable while waiting for their children, or they can even organise a picnic.

The diversity of sports facilities and beautiful nature bring active people to Kääriku throughout the year.Kääriku Sports Centre was established in 1947 as a study and training centre of the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the University of Tartu. Today, the modern sports centre has a ball hall, tennis and beach volleyball courts, athletics and football stadium, and ski and hiking trails. There is an outdoor swimming pool, the Kekkonen sauna and Green sauna, a sandy beach, and a children's playground by Lake Kääriku. We also offer accommodation, catering, and conference rooms all year round.

The Pikksaare hiking trail begins at the swimming and camping area by Lake Pangodi. While walking along the hiking trail, you can enjoy peace and idyllic views of the lake and the surrounding nature and make a short detour to the War of Independence Memorial. The directional signs placed along the trail will help make the hike smoother. The hiking trail passes the Pangodi campfire site, where you can take a short break, as there is a shelter, a barbecue area, a nice swimming spot, and opportunities for camping. Families with children are particularly welcome in the Lake Pühajärv Park as there are many opportunities to feed ducks and other birds when walking on the lakeshore. There is an exercise track by the northern part of the park. This is also the place where you will find the beach with a beach house, cafés, arbours and boat hire.The park used to be a part of the Pühajärv Manor Park and it was designed as a walking forest with paths already in the 19th century. The park is mainly a naturally grown forest.

Tamme Stadium with its long traditions is the most important stadium for athletic events and football in Tartu.Athletes can take advantage of the various opportunities of the contemporary stadium for football practices, track and field trainings and events.Amateur athletes and all others can use the 1 km running track along the fence, outdoor gym equipment, volleyball and basketball courts, sand court for beach volleyball and the rollerskating, roller skiing and cycling track for free. The stadium building has a gym, a room for aerobics, a gymnastics hall and a running track with a special surface. There is also a large playground on the premises.

During the summer season, beautiful Pühajärve Beach awaits you in Otepää with its clean sand, swimming pier, and full-sized outdoor swimming pool. In the summer, the beach has lifeguards, several catering companies, SUP board rentals, and boat rentals offering row boats, canoes, and pedal boats. A special pier and changing room have been built for visitors in wheelchairs. During the winter, a winter swimming pool is open on the beach. Pühajärve Park, which surrounds the beach, invites both young and old to walk along its shady paths. Come to Pühajärve and enjoy a day at the beach!
