Preferably at 5 p.m. (or at other times as an exception), we taste 3 different fermented teas made following the traditional method. These include, in addition to vine leaves and currant leaves, the famous Ivan Chai, which was drunk by both the tsar’s family and the common people, as the tea is known for its excellent taste and healing properties.We will also talk about the local life and ancient times.Fermented teas, home wines, and other Alatskivi edible souvenirs can also be purchased.

Palojärve camping area is a great place for a forest and beach holiday in a beautiful berry and mushroom pine forest on the shore of Lake Palojärv.There are seven covered campfire sites with benches and tree sheds, a roofed table-bench, a toilet for eight people and a toilet for one person, two wood sheds (it is possible to sleep in one of them), two changing cabins, and a swimming pier in Lake Palojärv.In summer, it is often crowded, but the large parking lot can accommodate 30 cars and the two smaller parking lots can accommodate five cars.

In South Estonia, next to Otepää, Kääriku Sports Center is a paradise for water lovers, in addition to being a sports center. We are located in the middle of Võrumaa's forests in the Haanja-Karula recreation area at the intersection of RMK hiking trails. We welcome all nature lovers and families with children.Here, you can find forest bandstands, the legendary Paganamaa, and several sights of South Estonia: Suur Munamägi Hill, Karula National Park, the southern tip of Estonia, Rõuge Ööbikuorg Valley, Koiva-Mustjõe pines, and Luhasoo landscape protection area. Several RMK hiking trails pass through Pähni.You can also camp, go to the sauna, and make a campfire on the premises of Pähni guesthouse. You can order a guided tour from us (including in the Võru language). Interesting activities are offered by the nearby RMK Pähni Visitor Centre.

The stables at the Club on Six Feet offer you the chance to get up close and personal to horses all year round. The farm has five adult horses as well as foals. The club offers a selection of riding trips suitable for everyone interested in horseback riding and nature.Riding in the surrounding area led by a guide costs €10 per hour.

The KGB Cells Museum, known as the "Grey House", is a historical museum in Tartu, where the NKVD/KGB was located in the 1940s and 1950s. The basement of the building, where the cells were located, is open to visitors. Several cells, the punishment cells, and the basement corridor have been restored to their historical form. The prison cells are filled with an exhibition that provides an overview of Estonia's post-war struggle for freedom and the crimes of the communist regime. Here you can see photographs and objects from Siberian prison camps, as well as materials on the history of the Forest Brotherhood and secret resistance organizations. Lahe Resto is located in the Värska Spa and Wellness Center’s sanatorium building. Meals are served three times a day buffet style for hotel guests and the general public. The chefs focus on healthy dishes made with local ingredients whenever possible. Every Thursday at lunchtime, we offer one Seto national dish – either soup, a main course, or dessert. Climbing to the top of Munamägi Hill is worth the effort – the view covers more than 50 km. The absolute height of Väike or Otepää Munamägi Hill is 207.5 m (relative height exceeds 80 m). There is a spring on the north-eastern slope of Väike Munamägi (in the direction of Otepää) that has been considered the start of the Väike Emajõgi River for a long time.
