Tähtvere Sport Park, located in Tartu's Supilinn area, offers activities for everyone and is ideal for an active day. The sports park has several trail options: an 850-meter asphalt roller track for rollerblading and roller skiing in summer, an 850-meter woodchip running track, and a 1.2 km sprint track. In winter, both the roller track and the sprint track are covered with artificial snow and maintained with a trail tractor, allowing skiing in both classic and freestyle techniques even when natural snow is scarce. One of the most important and internationally known parts of Tähtvere Sport Park is the Tartu Bike Park, which features four key facilities: a skatepark, a pump track, a BMX cross track, and a bike park. These pose challenges for both experienced riders and those trying cycling for the first time. The sports park also offers a variety of exciting activities, including an outdoor gym with different areas, a climbing wall, and slackline tracks. The Tartu Song Festival Grounds and Tähtvere disc golf park are also near the park.
Otepää is known as the winter capital and the mecca of winter sports. From here, it's easy to go have fun at both Munakas, the Väike-Munamäe ski center, and Kuutsemäe. The Kubija health trails and training area, which are 4.5 km from the centre of Võru, offer a range of sporting opportunities to all sports lovers in beautiful natural surroundings. The ca 2 km long rollerblading track and forest trails start from the Võru Sports Centre Kubija ski base. Right at the very start of the tracks is a training area in which you can give all of your muscle groups a good workout. The 5 km running, imitation and Nordic walking trail for trainings is accessible from the upper car park of Tehvandi main building near the stadium and next to the gate of the maintenance house; the trail starts in the middle of the rise of Kunimägi ski track and runs along the area of Hobuseraua, Püksisääre and Ansomägi. The trail has a though relief with difficult ascents and complex descents. The trail is partially covered by sawdust and marked with 15 x 15 cm boards of blue arrows. In summer you can hike on the Kääriku recreational trails and in winter you can ski along the hills and valleys of the Otepää Upland. All the skiing, running, cycling and hiking trails are signposted, so you will always find your way safely back to the starting point. There are three hiking trails - the Running Track (5 km), the Lakeside Circuit (2.3 km) and the Seinamägi Hill Circuit (4.6 km). The latter is of particular interest to extreme sports enthusiasts. The Kekkonen hiking trail is perfect for cycling, and you can also cycle along the quiet bicycle and pedestrian track between Kääriku and Lake Pühajärv. Sõmerpalu in Võru County is home to Europe's biggest stationary indoor motorcross hall, the Adrenalin Arena, which provides reasonably priced and comfortable year-round training and competition facilities for professionals, amateurs and enthusiasts alike. We are constantly organising motocross-themed and other special events; our spacious stands are a perfect place for watch the events.You can book motocross trainings, rent bikes and visit the motocross museum of MTÜ Sõmerpalu Motoklubi; there, the trophies, pictures and bikes that were used to win the trophies by sportsmen trained by Sõmerpalu Motoklubi, including the ones of the brothers Leok (racing drivers), are on display.
The starting point of these tracks, which are 4 km from the centre of Võru, is at the ski centre at the Kubija Hotel. The tracks measure 2, 3 and 5 km and are lit until 20:00 from Monday to Friday.
