SUP hike or event for a group on the River Emajõgi

SUP hikes are enjoyable from the very first moment as it requires no prior experience and is safe, meaning that they are suitable for everyone! Gather your friends and book a hike on the charming River Emajõgi or another body of water. Our instructor will provide basic training or a thorough training course, where you will learn a few tricks!We also organise planned trips (15 euros per person), which can be booked here.When the weather gets colder, you can go to a hot sauna at the end of the hike.

Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre offers excellent opportunities for active recreation and sports in nature. Visitors can rent mountain bikes, fat bikes, and scooters for a short trip or a full day of outdoor activity. The rental price also includes a helmet and bike lock, making the service convenient and safe for those traveling lightly. The center is located just two kilometers from the town of Elva, in a picturesque pine forest that offers peace and authentic Southern Estonian nature. Well-maintained forest roads and health trails are suitable for both beginners and more experienced cyclists. Fat bikes offer an especially exciting riding experience, allowing riders to navigate sandy and uneven tracks. Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre is located about 25 kilometers from Tartu and is conveniently accessible by car or public transport. Come with family or friends and enjoy active recreation in the heart of Tartu County, where the joy of movement, nature, and well-being meet.

Terminal Oil Annikoru Disc Golf Park powered by DiscSport

Terminal Oil Annikoru Disc Golf Park has 18 courses of different lengths, which are suitable for both skilled players as well as beginners. The 2.0 km long winding course is located in a picturesque pine forest.Disc rental is not available on site. Discs can be rented from Nõo Sports Hall on the basis of the price list or from the Tartu Festival Arena information desk based on the price list by presenting an identity document. Discs can be rented at the Tartu Festival Arena from Monday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The discs must be returned to the information desk no later than 8 p.m. on the same day.Terminal Oil Annikoru disc golf park powered by DiscSport is CLOSED during the winter period.

Lake Riiska beach

Lake Riiska is situated by the Valga road in the south-eastern part of the town of Tõrva. The lake has shallow shores, a sandy lake bed and greenish springs. The lake's depth reaches 12.5 metres. There is a beautiful sandy beach by the lake with beach cabins for changing clothes, toilets, volleyball courts, a swimming pontoon and swings. Coast guard will ensure safety on the beach.

Trout fishing at the Piusa Ürgorg (Primeval Valley) Holiday Centre

In Piusa Ürgorg Holiday Complex you can angle rainbow trout from the pond and have it cooked by the host family from early spring to late autumn. If you wish, you may also take raw fish along. We are located in the beautiful primeval valley of the Piusa River in Setomaa. Liipsaare observation tower is located in a beautiful pine forest in the Meenikunno Landscape Protection Area. The wooden observation tower has three platforms, the last of which is located at a height of 11 metres. The tower offers a magnificent view of the Meenikunno bog landscape. It is also possible to join the Meenikunno bog hiking trail from the observation tower.The Meenikunno Landscape Protection Area offers excitement for hikers, berry pickers, and birdwatchers alike. It is possible to relax for a longer time at the observation tower. Near the observation tower, you will find the Liipsaare forest hut and recreation area.

Canoe trip on the Põltsamaa River through Endla Bog

A canoe trip on the Põltsamaa River takes you away from the city directly into the silence of the bog. The Põltsamaa River flows through the Endla Nature Reserve, where views of the authentic bog landscape open up. Nature is constantly changing: water levels, weather, and seasons make each trip unique. During the trip, you can stop and step directly onto the edge of the bog from the canoe to pick cranberries, bilberries, or rare cloudberries. The journey takes you through quiet river stretches, offering real relaxation and the peace of nature. The trip can be chosen as a one-day, two-day, or multi-day adventure. There is an option to make a detour to Lake Endla. A shorter route can be completed at the Kirikumäe campfire site, while the longer route ends at Jõeküla Bridge. If desired, you can continue from there for a multi-day journey. The Põltsamaa River is known for its clear water and is very popular among fishermen. Before or after the canoe trip, it is worth exploring the nearby springs (Norra Springs, Oostriku Springs, Sopa Spring, etc.). A true nature experience awaits — grab a paddle and come discover!
