You can feel touched by the divine when walking on the beach or swimming in Lake Pühajärv.Namely, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso (born 1935), the leader of the Tibetan people, visited Estonia and Otepää on 3 October, 1991. He blessed Lake Pühajärv on the same day. The historical visit is commemorated with a wooden sculpture near the beach in Pühajärv Park.
Kiidjärve Water Mill was built in 1914 and it used to be one of the largest and most powerful mills in Estonia. The saw mill on the other side of the Ahja River, which was destroyed in a fire in 1962, formed a complex with the flour mill.The mill was a part of the historic Kiidjärve Manor, historically written as Kiddijerw. The mill operated until 1979. From 1987 to 1988, a new dam was built for the mill, and the mill was restarted in 1991. The mill was once again halted in the middle of the 1990s.Good to know: The mill is in private ownership and can be viewed from the outside only.

Võru Town Gallery focuses on promoting art and cultural activities in Võru, on introducing professional art and organising exhibitions and exhibition-sales.For expositions the gallery mostly uses the balcony lobby on the 1st floor of the Võru Community Centre, called Kannel, and the room in front of the small hall. There are also exhibitions in the lobby of the ground floor. All rooms are equipped with modern spotlights that move along buses.

The sauna area also includes a lounge for up to 10 people with a table and benches, as well as grilling facilities. The holiday complex is well-suited for both relaxation and organizing larger events, seminars, and work gatherings. The large hall in the stone house (65 m²) accommodates up to 55 people, and the smaller hall (50 m²) up to 40 people. The smaller hall also has presentation equipment, providing good opportunities for training and meetings.
