You can hire cross country and downhill skis and snowboards from Veetee Ski Rental. We also offer now kicksledges! All equipment is well maintained and if needed we also offer maintenance of your skiing equipment. In summer season Veetee organizes canoe and rafting trips in South-Estonia.You will find us in the centre of Otepää, not far from Otepää Tourist Information Centre.

Together with the dogs and lanterns, it creates a fairy-tale feeling, as if stepping into a timeless winter evening. In the middle of the hike, a campfire spot awaits, where a fire is lit to create a cozy atmosphere. You can enjoy campfire stories, drink warm tea, grill sausages and marshmallows, and feel how the silence and darkness of the winter evening become cozy thanks to the firelight and company. This is the perfect opportunity to spend time with friends, colleagues, or family. The hike is suitable for participants of all ages – especially children, who delight in the company of dogs and the charm of the forest. The evening walk is a great way to take a break, breathe in the crisp forest air, and experience a genuine Nordic adventure. We start by meeting in the car park of the Sangaste castle by the yellow window of NG, and will continue from there by bus.The first part of the hike takes us through the Valli quaking swamp on bogshoes. From there, we are going to move closer to the forest park, take a look at the rare species of trees in the dendrological park and enjoy the views across the Juudaoru valley.There will be a picnic at a mystical campfire site.The hike ends in the castle park where you will learn about the history of the manor and rye up to the formation of the cooperation network of Rukkiküla. We will also test the famous echo effect of the castle.

River Ahja is well-known for it picturesque and primeval nature. Sandstone outcrops border the river, you can see beavers, otters and the favourite of nature photographers — kingfisher. Some parts of the river have a stronger current, while others are calmer.The hike begins from Koorvere or Kiidjärve and summer hikes include a pancake picnic. All hikers will be given thorough instructions before the hike and guides will keep an eye on you during the canoeing trip.

`Mustjärv` (Black lake) is located 0,5 km to the south of the `Valgejärv` (White Lake) and is larger and a complete opposite to its neighbour. The banks of this forest lake are low, boggy and, especially in the south, difficult to move along. Its waters are acidic, reddish-brown, extremely opaque (transparency is only 0,4 m), and rich in organic elements. Hikers can rest on the banks near a fire or make a picnic in a specially equipped roofed place.

Would you like to listen to the sounds of the forest or hear your own thoughts better in silence? Then come to Võru County to a fir forest by the RMK Pähni Nature Centre where you'll find forest megaphones – three gigantic wooden megaphones with a diameter of three metres, each named Ruup.Ruup invites you to read forest sounds and offers hikers a possibility to rest their feet and their minds. Here, you can sit, sleep, think and listen. You can select between a small and a large view, depending on which direction you look in the Ruup. Ruup is an open library with only one book – the nature.

From the 25-meter-high viewing platform of the Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Center's tower, visitors have a great opportunity to enjoy the enchanting landscapes around Pühajärve in every season. The modern glass-walled tower, built in place of the former wooden tower of Pühajärve Manor, which also operated as a café for years, offers expansive views of the surrounding area. From the top of the tower, there is a wonderful panoramic view of Pühajärve, Neitsijärve, and the picturesque forests and hilly landscape of Otepää Nature Park. In addition to regular visits, we offer the option to celebrate important events in the tower, by prior arrangement. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, romantic surprise, engagement, or any other special moment, the unique ambience makes every event even more special. If desired, there is also the possibility to work remotely or spend a peaceful moment alone here. Good to know: To reach the top of the tower, you need to climb 152 steps.
