Holiday House of the Kalda Tourist Farm

Located next to the community of Misso, Pullijärv is a nice place to spend some time. If you don't feel like swimming, you can hike around the lake: the 3.6-kilometer-long trail is just the right length for the whole family. The trail rises here and there too: boys used to do ski jumps from its highest point onto the lake in winter.The trail begins and ends at the RMK Pullijärv rental hut, which is located on the north shore of the lake. In spring and fall, the trail can be really wet.

The National Piano Museum is located in a special building - the historic Holdre Manor.The Art Nouveau-style main building, with its Heimat-style influences, was erected around 1910 during the time of Woldemar von Ditmar. Previously, the manor centre had not been built in a representative style. The architect of the building was Otto Wildau, who also designed the nearby Taagepera and Karksi manor buildings. The aim of the National Piano Museum is to collect as complete a collection of Estonian pianos as possible.By prior arrangement, we offer a musical guided tour with Alo Põldmäe, a composer, singer and music educator who is in charge of the Piano Museum.

The wetlands, bogs, and forests of the Peipsiveere Nature Reserve are rich in berries and mushrooms, and picking them has always been a summer tradition for Estonians. Led by an experienced guide with a forager's soul, we will hike to places where you can find Estonian nature's top delicacies, like blueberries and cranberries. We will learn how to find these berry and mushroom spots, what to pick, what to leave in the forest, and how to preserve berries and mushrooms for the winter. The trips take place from mid-July to mid-October. At the end of the trip, we will prepare a delicious dish from the natural products we have picked over a campfire in the forest. Peipsi Teemaja Arts and Crafts Shop offers a wide selection of local handicrafts. There is a large selection of baskets, sauna buckets, thermometers, etc. for sale from the Avinurme Woodworking Centre. You will also find a selection of knitted mittens from local grandmothers, which will keep your hands warm even in the cold Estonian weather.In addition, you simply have to try Ivan Chai when near Lake Peipus. You can also buy it as a gift.We also offer delicious local food and sweets.

We are a small family business in Võru County, between the hills of Haanja and near the beautiful Lake Alajärv. Our organic farm grows sea-buckthorn and grapes on Servamägi Hill (222 meters high). We make berry and fruit wines from our own and other local raw ingredients. We offer a year-round educational ‘wine tour’, during which we will explore the secrets of wine-making and then, taste three wines with snacks. During the summer season from May to October, we will go on a tour on the berry field. We will also hold a fun quiz on wines. There is a farm shop.

Turgi Handicraft Farm offers a creative holiday by weaving on looms.The selection includes various several-day courses, because the hostess Veinika Västrik introduces the basics of weaving to the beginners and more complex weaving techniques to the more experienced participants. Rähni home accommodation is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood about 1.5 km from the centre of Põlva.Guests can enjoy a detached two-story house with separate entrances. The rooms and sauna are located in an area that has a positive effect on people, as many of our guests have admitted. The large adjoined kitchen and living room can be used for preparing meals. The guest house is especially suitable for people on business trips and those on an extended visit. The spacious family room has a study area and separate utility rooms. Guests can use an outdoor fireplace, a leisure and barbecue terrace and a large balcony.Good to know: We also organize bus trips to our fellow Finno-Ugric nations in the Republics of Mari and Udmurtia.

Sailing along the Emajõgi River, over the Peipus, Võrtsjärv, and Saadjärv lakes, as well as out at sea, the Viking ship "Turm" is an open vessel which sets out on voyages between May and September each year. Able to accommodate up to 12 passengers: larger groups can take turns enjoying the Viking fun at sea or on shore. In addition to voyaging on water, you can take part in exciting Viking games, and show that you've got the strength required for the journey. Sailing on the "Turm" is best suited to older children, teenagers, young adults, and those who enjoy physical exercise.
