Tartu Snow Park offers a total of eight hectares of sled and tube tracks – a true snow paradise. There are seven snow tube tracks at the Tartu Snow Park, all of which have different speeds and lengths and therefore, they are suitable for toddlers, teenagers, and adults. Come and spend some lovely time with family, friends, or by yourself. We also have a sledding slope where you can ride your sledge for free. Do not waste your day indoors. The Kaljupealse campfire site is located on the banks of the Võhandu River, in a beautiful pine forest. The riverside and high banks offer a beautiful view of the Võhandu River and sand outcrops. The campfire site has a roofed table and benches, a roofed grill, and firewood. The place is ideal for campers, fishing enthusiasts, and as a resting point for guests coming here with boats.Along the high sandy shores, through a beautiful pine forest, there is an unmarked hiking trail where you can enjoy beautiful views of nature or pick berries and mushrooms.

Otepää Hill Fort represents one of the places worth discovering in South Estonia and is recommended for those interested in nature holidays. Come and conquer the peak of the approximately 13,000-year-old Otepää Hill Fort and take a look at the city of Otepää and its surroundings. Have a picnic, see the ruins of the stone fort founded by Bishop Herman in 1224, and explore the map of ancient Estonian forts. In the 11th century, Otepää was the most important stronghold of the ancient Ugandi County. One of the strongest fortresses in Ancient Estonia was located on this hill. The oldest known firearm in Europe and an ancient war trumpet have also been found here. Come and discover the history of this ancient fortress!

Enjoy a unique year-round sauna experience – two saunas, a bog lake, and a hot tub! The steam room of the raft sauna overlooks a pristine bog lake and the meadow. After the raft sauna's hot steam, take a refreshing dip in the 10-meter-deep bog lake. The sauna can accommodate up to six people, and the terrace provides an ideal place to relax in between steam sessions. Immerse yourself in the hot tub next to the honeycomb sauna for an even more relaxing experience. After the sauna, we recommend staying overnight in our cozy mini-houses. Opened in 1969, the Struve Monument is dedicated to the former director of the Tartu Observatory, Fr. G. W. Struve (15 April 1793 – 23 November 1864), a Russian astronomer and geodesist of German origin. Under his leadership, the meridian arc was measured between 1816 and 1855 to determine the shape and size of the globe.The monument is an abstract work, inspired by the spirit of its era, reflecting the pursuit of the human race into space. The lower part of the sculpture is a sundial and the upper part is an hourglass. The authors of the monument are Olav Männi and Udo Ivask.The Struve street and the geodetic arc are also dedicated to him in Tartu.

Elistvere study trail is located in Elistvere village, Tartu County. The trail is 2 km long back and forth and starts at the Elistvere Animal Park. At the end of the study trail you will find the magical Lake Elistvere with an observation tower offering a great view to the flora surrounding the lake and animals running in the bushy greenery. The information boards at the road help the visitors and there are several observation platforms. The trail can be completed in a wheelchair and with a children's stroller as well.The study trail can be accessed only during the opening hours of the animal park. The animal park has an entrance fee.
