August Teppo’s Accordion Museum

Võru vald, Võru maakond, 65548

August Teppo was a famous accordionist of Võru County. Today, his home farm has been turned into a museum. Visitors can see his workshop, as well as learn about the lifestyle typical of the era. In addition to the exhibition, the museum also organises trainings and cultural events.Good to know: the museum is only open to visitors upon booking during the summer months.

Kiisa Jahi- ja Matkamaja (Kiisa Hunting and Hiking Lodge) is suitable for seminars, trainings, birthday parties, company events, weddings or simply an enjoyable get-together.The holiday home is located by Lake Kiisa in a quiet rural area in Põlva County. The Põltsamaa Technical Sports Club developed the Piiroja rallycross course and the complex attached to it: maintenance and recreation areas, a building for referees, open air recreation areas, an ATV course and more. The club has been organising the Estonian championships in the sport since 2008, as well as supercross cup events and ice course competitions. It was also behind the Piiroja Village Sprint series.

Come enjoy a boat ride on the Emajõe! The riverboat Pegasus offers an opportunity to experience Tartu as a river city, organizing regular trips and charter journeys for up to 75 people, starting next to the Dorpat Hotel. CHECK THE TIMETABLE.The approximate duration of the trip is 1,5 hours. The boat has a café, and Dorpat Catering provides food services for private events. Pegasus was built in 1958 at the Moscow shipyard in Russia and was named Kreutzwald until 1993. In the 20th century, Pegasus conducted multi-day excursion trips (e.g., autumn berry trips) and also regular services, including routes from Tartu to Ihaste, which later became a pleasure trip.
