Saatse Church was completed in 1801. This congregation has been a mixed congregation of Setos and Russians. Saatse's biggest holiday is St. Paraskeva's Day (the last Friday in July.). Paraskeva means "Friday" in Greek. The church has "royal gates" from the old wooden church, and a 15th century stone cross. The only saint of Seto background is associated with the church: St. Stefanus, a former parish priest, who is depicted in icons in Seto folk costume. In 1919, Stefanus was shot along with Father Vassili, who was also declared a saint.

In Kalevipoja's playground, unique Kalevipoja-sized tools or his furniture are placed. And the best thing - all these items have turned into a kind of attraction in the playground, where you can spin, swing or just enjoy the beautiful surroundings... You can also find famous Estonian lace shawls, made by the skilled knitters of Haapsalu. One of the store's great prides is the selection of woven baskets, which extends from the floor almost to the ceiling in the large hall.The busy bees of Magasiait wish to make customers happy by offering a selection of gourmet items from home kitchens — "Magasiaida Talusahver." The menu includes special sauces and jams, including Sibulkad — uniquely flavored onion jams, herbal teas, and flavored salts. The highlight is locally grown lavender. Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.
It is believed that the Raja congregation of Old Believers was established in the first quarter of the 18th century. The congregation was given permission to build its own church only in 1879. The church was destroyed during the Second World War – the only thing left is the belfry. The present worship house has 11 rooms. In 1854–1930 Gavriil Frolov lived in the worship house. He taught children icon-writing, reading and writing in Old-Slavic, also singing based on old musical notation.
On 1 May 1990, the 70th anniversary of the state farm was celebrated in Luunja. As horse breeding and horseback riding are traditional in the Luunja rural municipality and horses are still bred in the manor, a monument was erected there to celebrate man’s best friend in agriculture – the horse. The author of the bronze horse monument is Endel Taniloo.On the night of 19 June 2017, the sculpture was painted purple. It is not known who did it. According to folk tradition, the horse became so angry it turned purple because in the course of the administrative reform, Luunja rural municipality almost had to join the city of Tartu. Fortunately, the rural municipality was able to maintain its independence.
Linocut is one of the simplest classic graphic techniques where the printing form is cut out of linoleum by hand. In the workshop, each participant prepares a printing plate in linocut technique based on their own design. You can use the finished printing plate repeatedly and print greeting cards, notebook covers, and beautiful pictures. You can get all the materials from us, but we recommend thinking about your design or searching the Internet for inspiration beforehand. The image should have strong contrasts and clear lines, such as black and white, because linocutting cannot be used for smooth colour transitions.
