Boat trips on Lake Peipsi take you to Estonia's largest lake aboard the historic cruise ship Arabella I. Built in 1922 and recently fully renovated, Arabella I is the oldest ship in use in Estonia. The Rõuge Primeval Valley hiking trail is as straight as a line, 10 km long, it begins at Hinni Canyon or in the Ööbikuoru Centre parking lot. Beginning at the Ööbikuorg start point, the trail runs along the shores of seven lakes towards Hinni Canyon and offers hikers an opportunity to observe the workings of the area's water rams, see the deepest Estonian lake – Rõuge Suurjärv and visit Rõuge Park.Further on, on the shores of Lakes Ratasjärve, Tõugjärve and Kahrila, hikers can see the local forest communities, rest in meadows or enjoy the village landscape and proceed along the short path towards Hinni Canyon.

This slow nature experience is perfect for families, couples, and groups who want to enjoy Estonian nature without rushing. Raft trips on Saadjärv proceed at a leisurely pace and offer the opportunity to enjoy expansive views, the lake's tranquility, and the surrounding nature. An attentive visitor might also spot the rare lake ball, a unique algae found in only a few places worldwide and in a few lakes in Estonia. To enrich your experience, you can book a guided rafting trip. The guide shares stories and legends related to Saadjärv, including folklore about Kalevipoeg and legends of the sunken church and a mint. A smoke sauna is a true 'back to nature' experience, from its stone hearth to the birch twigs you cleanse your skin with. There is no smoke in the sauna while you're in it, as by then it has already heated up. Warm and cool water is provided as in the olden days - there is no shower or toilet in the building. You can run down and jump into the pond in just a couple of minutes. The farm's renovated smoke sauna building is a log structure around 100 years old. It has the sauna itself plus an entrance way and two party and recreation rooms which seat up to 30 people. There is also a fireplace. The space is ideal for parties, weddings and other events. You can bring your own food or have the farmer's wife cater for you.

The highest court of the Republic of Estonia, the Estonian Supreme Court that operated in Tartu from 1920 to 1935, is located in this building. The building was initially built as a barracks in 1763, the university hospital was built on its ruins in 1808 and the Estonian Supreme Court has been in the building since 1995.
