However, if you visit the castle with children and master Tanel is working at the same time, you can leave the children to sculpt in the pottery room—it's often the children's favorite activity at the manor! Tanel glazes the finished objects himself and sends them to your home by mail. Beautiful, one-of-a-kind objects sculpted by Tanel himself can be purchased as souvenirs. Theatre House, situated in Tartu Old Town, is a theatre inspired by a museum, forming a part of the Tartu Toy Museum. The Theatre House takes its inspiration from our childhood, the games we played, the dreams we had, and the fantasies we brought to life. The Theatre House stages plays, but you can also put on your own show, play games, make handicrafts, and discover what goes on behind the scenes in the theatre world. There is a children’s studio on the first floor, in which children’s groups can take part in theatre-themed programmes. Visitors find a museum, an automated puppet theatre, and several exciting theatre-themed exhibitions in the basement level.

The place, at its most authentic, takes us back to the battlefields of 1944.The aim of the club, which is based at the Käre Battlefields, is to preserve and exhibit old equipment and antiuqes. The historical heritage is combined with modern leisure activities such as guided walks near trenches and bunkers or safaris in the countryside.

In the leather studio workshop, you can make a personalised keychain under the guidance of the leather designer Tiina Andron. Different metal studs, leathers, rivets, and key rings are used. The workshop is suitable for everyone (from school age). Boat trips on Lake Peipsi take you to Estonia's largest lake aboard the historic cruise ship Arabella I. Built in 1922 and recently fully renovated, Arabella I is the oldest ship in use in Estonia.
