Otepää Apartments offers accommodation with all comforts in the heart of Otepää, facing the Otepää Town Hall on the Flag Square (Lipuväljak). The Meremäe Viewing Tower is located between Meremäe village and Vastseliina Castle on Meremäe Hill (204 m). Based on its name, one might think that the sea might be visible from the tower. However, the sea, as we know it today, is about 250 km from here, though Lake Pskov – which is not visible on the opposite side, and which was probably also called a sea in the old days – is just 40 km away. In fine weather, the domes of the churches of the Pskov-Caves Monastery in Pechory can be seen from the tower. The wide view of Setomaa's fields and forests is amazingly beautiful in every season, regardless of the weather. Fifteen people can climb the viewing tower at a time.

Otepää is known as the winter capital and the mecca of winter sports. From here, it's easy to go have fun at both Munakas, the Väike-Munamäe ski center, and Kuutsemäe. Next to the Obinitsa Museum is a small log building with a barely noticeable wooden cross on the roof. This is the Obinitsa village chapel.The building was built in 2007 in the place where a village chapel was a hundred years ago. The chapel plays an important role in Seto culture.The holy day of the chapel is the day of the Lord's Transfiguration. On its eve, on 18 August, a procession from Obinitsa Church comes here.Ask the Obinitsa Museum for more information on the chapel.

The 10 km Pühajärve-Kääriku ski track is suitable for skiers and hikers who want to enjoy the magic of winter. It starts either by the Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort or at Kääriku Sport Centre. The 2.5 km Sihva-Kääriku section is lit until 9 pm. The track has a simple relief and is well-suited for amateur skiers. In Kääriku, you can continue your skiing hike on the Kääriku ski tracks of different lengths. You can hire skis in Otepää ski rentals.Come and enjoy the magical landscape of Otepää!
