Seto Line Day Trips to Piirissaar

Vabaduse pst 1b, Tartu linn, Tartu maakond, 51004

During the summer months, we depart on selected dates at 9:00 AM from the quay next to the Tartu Market Hall for a journey to Piirissaar.
Piirissaar is the only permanently inhabited Estonian island in Lake Peipsi. The north-eastern part of the island has three villages (Piiri, Tooni, and Saare). Most of the inhabitants of Piirissaar are Russian Old Believers whose main activities include fishing and growing onions.
The boat trip to Piirissaar takes 4–4.5 hours, with approximately 2 hours planned for independent exploration and dining on the island. The estimated return to Tartu is around 21:00.

Trepimäe Recreation Area

Trepimäe Recreation Area is a popular and very beautiful leisure spot on the eastern shore of Estonia's largest inland lake, Lake Võrtsjärv, in Elva municipality, offering visitors expansive lake views, tranquility, and pure nature away from mass tourism. It is an ideal destination for both family holidays and nature lovers who appreciate silence, open views, and an authentic natural environment. Trepimäe has been recognized as a natural heritage site, and its natural appearance has been preserved for generations. The forest area hosts a nearly 90-year-old pine forest with lingonberry and blueberry habitats. The area is perfect for walks, nature observation, and at the right time, for berry and mushroom enthusiasts to enjoy quiet foraging trips. The recreation area's beach is suitable for swimming, and visitors have access to picnic and campfire sites, a small camping area, a volleyball court, and an open beach house. When visiting the Trepimäe Recreation Area, it is worth stopping by the nearby Lake Museum, where you can explore the secret life of Lake Võrtsjärv's fish in an exciting way!

Seto Glamping Akulina

Seto Glamping is a luxurious tent with amenities located in the most beautiful place in Setomaa – the picturesque garden of Anzelika Organic Farm, where you can enjoy a romantic getaway in any season!Glamping is open to everyone who appreciates closeness to nature but also enjoys comfort. The tent features a wide bed, warmth from a fireplace, and blankets. The tent is equipped with everything necessary, including a large bed, bed linen, blankets, pillows, and a fireplace. Hunting Lodge Trofee

Trofee welcomes you in Central Estonia, on the shore of river Pedja. The hunting lodge was built in 2008 on a place where an old watermill used to stand, for people who love nature and its spectacles, but also a little comfort and luxury in the middle of a forest. Trofee is owned by a family where hunting has been a lifestyle for centuries and birdwatching is their great passion. The treasures of the place are the nearby two nature conservation areas and one landscape protection area. There are amazingly many species of wild birds in the nature conservation areas around Trofee and if you're lucky, you'll meet a wild animal too. Here you can enjoy a place of quiet, surrounded by a scenic landscape in the middle of Estonia.

The Ankur restaurant and bar is situated in the centre of Mustvee and can seat up to 100. Group catering is available on request.

Kissing Hill (Musumägi)

Locals call the artificial hill on the Toome Hill, in the immediate vicinity of the Cathedral, the Kissing Hill. It was built in the 19th century as part of the park’s romantic design over the former Moscow Rondel at Karl XI Bastion. Today, stairs lead to the Kissing Hill and at the top, there is a viewing platform with benches. Next to the Kissing Hill, there is a monument to the poet Kristjan Jaak Peterson, between the sacrificial stone, the hill, and the cathedral. The place has been popular with young couples who take pictures there. There have been open-air performances on and around the Kissing Hill.

Raft hikes in Peipsiveere

The 24 h raft hike a versatile adventure, which is suitable for both company events and gatherings of friends.The raft hike begins and ends at the Kavastu village harbour, next to the Kavastu ferry. After a light meal and raft training, the adventure begins. On rafts, we take an 18–24 km journey until reaching the raft house on the River Kalli, where you will have dinner and can enjoy a sauna to gather energy for the return trip the following morning. The tour ends at Kavastu harbour.
