In the city centre of Tartu, around the new Tartu Environmental Education Centre, there is a large park covering 10,000 m² and containing a large number of species. Old and ancient trees meet newly designed park trails offering learning and recreational possibilities in the hilly park. The park is home to over 80 species of trees and shrubs and over 200 species of herbaceous plants.A visitor can find peat, butterfly, and vegetable beds in the park; there is also a man-made beaver nest, a sun dial, a fountain, an observation tower, and a study trail about rocks. The old orchard has also been preserved. Children can have fun at the otter slide, a three-sand sandbox, and a carousel. Park facilities and plants are introduced by several information boards.

The central square of Elva is closely connected to Lake Arbi, the nature trail that winds around it, the beach, and the beachside recreation area. Along the promenade, visitors can find a platform with a fountain, sun loungers, a café, hammocks, table tennis, currant bushes, outdoor chess, a playground, a sports area, and a skatepark – everything for an enjoyable time for adults, children, and family pets. Various fairs and concerts are regularly held in the central square, and everyone can explore the outdoor gallery and enjoy free exhibitions at the Elva cultural center. Tähtvere Sport Park, located in Tartu's Supilinn area, offers activities for everyone and is ideal for an active day. The sports park has several trail options: an 850-meter asphalt roller track for rollerblading and roller skiing in summer, an 850-meter woodchip running track, and a 1.2 km sprint track. In winter, both the roller track and the sprint track are covered with artificial snow and maintained with a trail tractor, allowing skiing in both classic and freestyle techniques even when natural snow is scarce. One of the most important and internationally known parts of Tähtvere Sport Park is the Tartu Bike Park, which features four key facilities: a skatepark, a pump track, a BMX cross track, and a bike park. These pose challenges for both experienced riders and those trying cycling for the first time. The sports park also offers a variety of exciting activities, including an outdoor gym with different areas, a climbing wall, and slackline tracks. The Tartu Song Festival Grounds and Tähtvere disc golf park are also near the park.

Ronimistehas is the first independent climbing hall in Southern Estonia.Beginners and advanced climbing enthusiasts are welcome to climb at the Ronimistehas alone or with a larger group. We also organise weekly training courses, various workshops, children's birthdays, and other events.The ticket can only be purchased from the Ronimistehas online store and there are no on-site ticket sales. You can climb for as long as you want, the price of the sauna is also included.Premium card holders can climb 24/7.

The 10 km Pühajärve-Kääriku ski track is suitable for skiers and hikers who want to enjoy the magic of winter. It starts either by the Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort or at Kääriku Sport Centre. The 2.5 km Sihva-Kääriku section is lit until 9 pm. The track has a simple relief and is well-suited for amateur skiers. In Kääriku, you can continue your skiing hike on the Kääriku ski tracks of different lengths. You can hire skis in Otepää ski rentals.Come and enjoy the magical landscape of Otepää!

The Tamula lake beach is located in the city of Võru. The beach is interestingly designed, modernly landscaped and maintained, equipped with changing cabins and attractions offering various activities. You can play football and volleyball, climb on the net, build sandcastles, sunbathe on the grass or sandy beach. The beach promenade, 800 meters long, starts at the Tamula hotel and extends to the Roosisaare bridge. During the swimming season, lifeguards ensure safety. On the beach playground, children are welcomed in summer by climbing nets, ball courts, and various swings. In addition, it is pleasant to walk or simply enjoy the moment by Tamula lake — the mirror-like surface of the lake and birdsong create a peaceful atmosphere in every season. In the evenings, the beach offers views of picturesque sunsets, making this place a favorite for photographers and romantics. Nearby parks, cafes, and terraces offer the opportunity to enjoy coffee or ice cream with a view of the lake. Concerts and events are also organized along the promenade during the summer months, bringing life and buzz to the Tamula area.

Kuningamägi hill in Põltsamaa has an exciting new addition – a slope for mountain sports that is open to all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts!On the slope with a 140-metre ascent, you can ride the snowboard or ski for about a couple of hundred metres. The profile of the track is intended for beginners and intermediate enthusiasts, but is also suitable for more experienced athletes. A lift takes you to the hill and you will find small jumps, pipes, and boxes when descending.It is also possible to rent a small amount of snowboard equipment (board, boots, clips, helmet) on site.Kuningamäe ski trails and a sledding hill are also nearby.
