Anne Canal is located in the city of Tartu, where you can enjoy summer beach fun. The beach has a golden sandy beach that awaits sunbathers and sandcastle builders. There is also a playground with swings, climbing ladders, and a slide. There are fitness trails, an outdoor gym, and a volleyball court along the Canal. There are changing cabins and toilets on the beach. During the swimming season, the beach café Lennuk is open, where you can buy refreshing drinks and street food. In winter, you can go winter swimming in Anne Canal and go ice skating with your own skates. Good to know: During the summer months, the beach is patrolled by lifeguards.
There is a unique children’s museum on the first floor of the Varbuse post station of the Road Museum. Children have the whole floor to themselves for having fun. Here, you will find exciting reading, educational games and activities, a puppet theatre, and the Chamber of Secrets which introduces fairy tales.There is an animal called Ajaloom (Time Animal) living in the children’s museum who is excited to meet his new friends to explore together what time is. The children’s floor is perfect for organising birthdays: it can accommodate up to 20 guests.
Cafe Johanna dates back to 2016 when we took part in the Home Cafes Day. The positive feedback from the visitors made the host so happy that they decided to offer taste experiences more than once a year.Cafe Johanna offers a variety of flavours: morning coffee with delicious pastry, with a selection of the best rolled biscuit in town, wind pockets and eclairs, and of course, Pavlova cakes. Many birds and animals await you at "Talu ja loomad" (Farm and Animals) hobby farm, located in Kulli village in Tartu County! At the farm you can see various birds: chickens, the world's smallest seramas, ducks, turkeys, and geese. Additionally, the farm has goats, sheep, rabbits, chinchillas, hedgehogs, and a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig. You can meet about 300 animals and birds at the farm. Come with family and spend your time with lovely and unique birds and animals!

The historical Palamuse Parish Schoolhouse is now open to visitors as it was seen in 1895. There, you will find the classroom and the living rooms of the parish clerk, known from the movie Kevade. The heart of the museum is located in the freshly completed main building, where you will also find a classroom and a workshop. The main exhibition of the main building is meant for the whole family, reflecting the history of the Estonian parish schools through Kevade. The text introducing the entire building seems to have been written by the character Toots from the movie: you can learn to play the violin, catch Lati Pac, and see what Toots was hiding in his pockets! You can also learn how the movie Kevade was made and how it affected the Estonian culture.
The northern shore of Lake Kuremaa is home to the only beach in Jõgeva County manned by lifeguards. Here you will find a 250-metre stretch of golden sand, aquabikes and boat hire, a beachfront cafe, a playground, areas for ball games, a caravan park and more. You can also camp here. The swimming area is marked by buoys. The water temperature is measured constantly, with information provided on special stands.
