In the vast territory of Elmari Farm there is a pond where you can enjoy water pleasures and ride on a raft. In the yard there are two barbeque sites and a smoker. For sauna pleasures there are a smoke sauna and barrel sauna and separate electric and infrared saunas in the house. In the 60-seat hall of the seminary house meetings can be held and festive occasions celebrated.

The communal granary in Nursi Village by the Võru-Valga road was built in the second half of the 19th century.Building of communal granaries started in Estonia already during the second half of the18th century. The required grain reserve was kept there and peasants could borrow grain for food or sowing.As this is the place of summer spare-time activities in Rõuge Rural Municipality, the Nursi communal granary is also known as Midriait.You can see the unplastered quarrystone building with a hipped roof from the outside.

Harimägi is one of the largest mesas in the Otepää Uplands (211 m above sea level). It is worth coming to Harimäe whenever you are near Otepää. The Harimäe Observation Tower is located 3 km from Kääriku in the direction of Sangaste. The height of the tower is 28 m, and the highest viewing platform is 24 m high. The tower offers views of the Otepää mountains and across the Väike Emajõgi valley to the Karula upland. Camping is also allowed at the tower. Good to know: Harimägi is also called 'Leenard and Leonhard's hill.' From 1816 to 1819, geodetic surveys were carried out here by the internationally recognised astronomer and surveyor Friedrich Georg Wilhelm Struwe (1793–1864).

An exciting hiking trail runs along the banks of the Koiva River, which borders Estonia and Latvia. You can discover points important to both countries' cultural heritage along the trail! The trail is 22 kilometers long, so there and back comes to 44 kilometers. The trail introduces old Estonians' way of life and offers the opportunity to get acquainted with historical heritage in the middle of nature. The trail includes, for example, Taheva Manor, a windmill, the ruins of a hay barn, and ancient trees. There are several campfire sites and camping sites. The trail is signposted and equipped with information boards in Estonian, Latvian, and English, and it can also be completed by bike.

Motel Greete operates in the biggest and most unique log house in Estonia that has no square rooms – from air, the building looks like a honeycomb. The strong supporting beam that runs through the motel was cut from a 230-year old pine. Guests can relax in a jacuzzi, enjoy a wooden sauna, barbecue, fish, and hire a boat to discover River Väike Emajõgi. There is also a tennis court and a volleyball court. You are welcome to admire the Gothic red brick house of God (architect Wilhelm Schilling). The Church of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the only Roman Catholic church in Tartu. The cornerstone was placed in 1862 and the church was consecrated in 1899. You will find the painting "Virgin Mary with Jesus" (1905) by Ernst Friedrich von Liphardt and a large crucifix carved of lime tree (1935) in the high-vaulted church.Interesting facts: - even Tsar Nicholas II donated 3000 roubles for the construction of the church in 1894 when Priest Friedrich Zhyskar started raising funds for building the church.
