Lake Verevi Beach

One of the most famous and beloved places in the town of Elva, Tartu County, is the beach of Lake Verevi, whose warm water and soft sand have been a favorite of locals and visitors for decades. This lake is a scenic spot in the heart of Elva, where summer vibes, active leisure, and the pleasure of a day at the beach meet.
The beach has a diving tower, children’s pool, and volleyball courts, where various competitions are often held. The beach has all the necessary amenities, including changing cabins, lifeguards, toilets, and a summer beach café. At Verevi Beach Café, you can enjoy authentic Italian gelato and rent SUP boards.
Near Verevi Beach is Elva Sports Park, which features a tennis court, outdoor gym, Elva City Stadium, Seeneriigi playground, and a running track under the pines. In winter, it is possible to sled down the lake slope and skate on the lake ice rink when ice conditions are favorable. Skates can be rented during the winter from Verevi Motel.

Lodjakoja (Barge Center) Theme Park

At the Barge Center Theme Park, you can observe how a historical 24-meter-long two-masted Emajõe-Peipsi barge is built. You can also craft model barges, learn sailor skills, visit the forge, try old-time barge-related tasks, and explore the history of barge shipping. In the cinema area, you can watch films about barges and slide shows. We offer guided tours and workshops for groups upon prior reservation.Lodjakoja is a historical ship-building center, museum, theme park, and conference and exhibition venue. Viking and barge journeys begin here, and we have our own café and harbor. Explore an educational trail that introduces shipbuilding and forge work. Try out the sailing simulator that takes you on the water, and the test pool lets you try out your homemade model barge. Small visitors will be delighted by the play ship, sandbox-boat, and block corner, while older ones can puzzle over 3D puzzles. Everyone will enjoy the rope-pulling machine and old-time sports games. By visiting Lodjakoja, you help make history!

Liikluslinn (Traffic City)

Come to Liikluslinn (Traffic City) and learn safe driving. This is a unique indoor traffic city with working traffic lights and glowing city lights. On the spot, you can learn to follow traffic rules.At the centre, you find a café, an outdoor cinema, a discotheque, a sports hall and many other facilities that a modern city should have.The Traffic City also has a formula racing track and a practice area for bicycles where you can take an exam for a bicycle driving licence in the future.We welcome both children and adults to the Traffic City, where you can learn about safe traffic and have fun with the entire family!Useful information: The use of cars is subject to an extra charge.

WPark – Põltsamaa wakepark

WakePark is located on Lake Kamari in Põltsamaa municipality.WPark has a total of 16 different track elements (kickers, sliders, etc.). The ring cable moves clockwise and is open for everyone, from beginners to advanced visitors.In addition, WakePark has a water town with trampolines, a recreation area with a café and saunas, beach soccer, tennis, and volleyball courts, and equipment rental. Estonia’s first full-size cable park with a 2.0 system, a modern administrative building, a cosy café, and everything else is only a 5-minute detour from the Tallinn–Tartu highway.Come and see!

Kuningamäe go-karting center

The Kuningamäe go-karting center is situated just outside of Põltsamaa. It is a competition track, but can also be used by amateurs and enthusiasts. It is a relatively fast track, with an average speed of more than 60 km per hour. It is 850 metres long, with two straights, fast curves and technically complex S-curves. If the number of people wanting to use the track is greater than the number it will allow, those off the track can watch events from the monitors in the track-side box.

Otepää Central Square

In the summer of 2020, the Otepää Central Square and Flag Square dedicated to the Estonian tricolour got a new look. The Central Square is illustrated by Bruno Kadak's bronze sculpture – the fountain 'Fun Ott'.There is a well-known belief around the world that throwing a coin in a fountain brings happiness, but when coming to the Otepää fountain, you have to scratch the bear's rear paw.The Flag Square has one of the highest flagpoles in Estonia. Next to the Estonian flagstaff are pavilions and information stands telling the story of the flag.
