Avinurme Woodworking Centre

Võidu tn 3, Mustvee vald, Jõgeva maakond, 42101

Avinurme Woodworking Centre is a tourism centre which is home to local craftsmen. It offers the widest selection of woodwork products in Estonia, including dozens of sauna and household items. You can even put your own skills to the test! The centre organises a variety of workshops, from basket-weaving and felting to bread-making, candle-making, painting and more. The cosy coffee shop offers home-made cakes and pastries, fresh bread and other treats. Arranged in advance, it can provide catering for groups of up to 80 people.

Cyanotype on fabric in TYPA

Cyanotype is the process by which an image is produced to fabric by the combination of chemicals and UV light. The result is an image with white lines on a blue background. Make an exciting gift and produce a photo, drawing, or silhouette of a dried plant on a T-shirt or a cloth bag. Fabrics with a thinner texture which have been washed without conditioner and ironed beforehand are suitable for this. It is also possible to buy a cloth bag on site.If you want to produce a photo, send it to us in digital form no later than one day before the workshop. We will help you with the rest.

Peipsimaa Arts and Crafts Shop

The hand-made printed clothes and home textiles made in Peipsimaa Visitor Centre have been awarded with the ‘Certified Estonian Arisinal Craft’ mark, which is the highest recognition in Estonia.Our shop sells items inspired by the handicraft of Peipsimaa and Old Believers, such as hand-printed skirts and shirts, pottery, gold embroidery bags, rugs, Kodavere belts and gloves, and gold-plated magnet onions. We also sell books, music, and postcards related to Peipsimaa.Additionally, you can find the best onions, chicory, teas, and cooked sugar here!

Craft store Roosiait

We offer wonderful handicraft products for children and adults, as well as products for home decoration, and interesting antiquities.In 2020, we opened a café – we offer fair trade and eco-labelled products: chocolates (a large selection for vegans as well), tea, and coffee.Roosiait was named after grandmother Rosalie Ait, who was called Roosi (Rose). She was an outstanding woman who had 11 children and survived Siberia. We wanted to commemorate her and this is why we named the store after her.

Räpina Creative Centre

The carfts and souvenir counter of Räpina Creative Centre sells the creation of local masters: a wide selection of ceramics, stained glass, greeting cards, albums and notebooks, candles, textile items, jewellery and many other interesting items. We also accept custom orders. If you would like to craft something yourself, then groups can participate in various workshops that need to be booked in advance.

Alatskivi Castle Ceramics Workshop

Alatskivi Ceramics is a unique space where history and Estonian craftsmanship converge – it is situated in the vaulted basement of Alatskivi Castle, where the manor's servants once resided. Now a talented ceramics master works there, creating unique, high-quality handmade clay products on-site – bowls, cups, jugs, and other beautiful everyday ceramics that make lovely gifts! Visitors can purchase and admire these unique items in the shop and also try their hand at working with clay – the workshops are suitable for adults and are especially popular with children. You can also visit the castle, the Eduard Tubina Museum, the Alatskivi Castle Horse Stable Exhibition, and the restaurant!

Katre Arula`s Handicraft Workshop

Katre Arula`s Handicraft Workshop, where you will find crafter Katre Arula, is located in the courtyard of Põltsamaa Castle. In the workshop's store, you will find high-quality unique original creations and genuine Estonian handicraft items picked personally by Katre. The selection includes: clothes, bags, scarves, belts, gloves, jewellery, candles, ceramics, household textiles and small sweet knick-knacks.Groups can book an introduction of Katre's creation and work. She will demonstrate the items and explain their origin. She also makes custom-made items according to the client's specification.It is possible to book workshops.

Leather keychain workshop

In the leather studio workshop, you can make a personalised keychain under the guidance of the leather designer Tiina Andron. Different metal studs, leathers, rivets, and key rings are used. The workshop is suitable for everyone (from school age).
