We are a refuge in the heart of Estonia and offer cosy relaxation and wellbeing in comfortable suites, holiday houses and glamping facilities. Since 2019, we organise meditation retreats guided by Buddhist monks and certified teachers. The campsites and camping area of ​​the Tartu County Health and Sports Centre offer an idyllic holiday among Elva's beautiful pine forests. Our cozy 4-person cabins, 6-person cottages, and spacious camping area are perfect for families, friends, hikers, or for organizing camps. Public showers and toilets are located in the main building, where you can also enjoy breakfast with a reservation. There is a barbecue area for relaxation, and for active recreation, there is archery, shooting ranges, disc golf, hiking trails, and fat bike rental. Standing in the landcaped area opposite the former main entrance of the Räpina Paper Factory is the Tree Garden Warrior, a monument to the historical Tree Garden War designed by Riho Kuld in 1984. The locals refer to the warrior as the Iron Man.In 1784 a peasant uprising took place in Räpina following the levying of a bounty tax. In the tree garden of the local manor a battle erupted between the soldiers and the local farmhands, who were armed with poles - ending in the deaths of five local men.

The former Mattiesen Print House on the corner of Ülikooli and Vallikraavi Streets is also a noteworthy architectural monument in the centre of Tartu. Printer Carl Gottlieb Mattiesen bought the plot in 1848 and the print shop of the University of Tartu was moved into the wooden house. A stone annex was added to the building later.The building was redesigned in 1997 (architect M Raid) into a café-museum, bookstore and pub. Wilde Pub and Café operated in the building for a long time. A group of bronze sculptures depicting Oscar Wilde and Eduard Vilde was opened in front of the building in 1999 (authors M Karmin and T Trummal).
