The Pikksaare hiking trail begins at the swimming and camping area by Lake Pangodi. While walking along the hiking trail, you can enjoy peace and idyllic views of the lake and the surrounding nature and make a short detour to the War of Independence Memorial. The directional signs placed along the trail will help make the hike smoother. The hiking trail passes the Pangodi campfire site, where you can take a short break, as there is a shelter, a barbecue area, a nice swimming spot, and opportunities for camping. Come and spend a nice day in nature with your family or friends!

You can stay overnight when visiting Vudila Playland. The Kotkapesa Holiday Centre complex includes a 320 m2 main house and a smaller house with a sauna and two rooms for accommodation. We offer accommodation for up to 256 people and we can service events for up to two thousand people with the use of our camping site. We can put up a stage for different events. We have a basketball court with a wooden floor and sand volleyball courts, guests can also use the gym and running tracks. In winter we have 1, 3 and 5 km ski trails and there's an opportunity to organise ski hikes to beautiful places with trails as long as 20 km. We also have a ice rink and you can rent a sauna by the lake, which includes a 50 metre swimming lane. You can also take a boat out on the lake.

Varese Guesthouse is a convenient place to stay in north-western Võru County if you wish to continue your trip in the north or south, west or east direction, but you need good and simple place to stay overnight. In the Guesthouse sauna you can enjoy the evening and have a decent meal in the café.

The Palumägede hiking trail is situated near Lake Pangodi, within the picturesque Pangodi Landscape Reserve, and is an ideal destination for nature lovers seeking an active holiday experience. The hiking trail offers diverse landscapes with pleasantly alternating ups and downs, adding a little excitement to the hike. The starting point of the hiking trail is conveniently located at the second parking lot of Palumägede, where you will also find an information board that gives a good overview of the surrounding nature. Clear signposts and benches along the trail make the walk particularly comfortable. The Palumägede campfire site offers a space for grilling, swimming, and camping.

The Soontaga hiking trail is located at Kiidjärve-Kooraste recreation area. The hiking trail runs along the typical Southern Estonian mixed forests and arrives at the Väike-Emajõgi river. The hiking trail, which can be completed on foot, runs in a circle.There are several information boards at the hiking trail, which describe the nature of the area. The beautiful bodies of water at the hiking trail are equipped with bridges. In addition to the hiking trail there is the Soontaga campsite with campfire places at the recreation area.If you visit the hiking trail during the season, you might find forest berries or mushrooms on our journey.

Kiviranna Holiday Village, on the shores of Lake Võrtsjärv, is ideal for families, friends, and nature lovers. Kiviranna offers accommodation in a holiday house and a guest apartment. We also offer camping and special caravan sites for hikers. The holiday village also offers sauna lovers the opportunity to use an igloo sauna or a hot tub. From March to June, the café offers delicious smoked fish. Catering for groups can also be ordered. As an additional service, ordering a guided bog hike or a sailing trip on the lake is possible.
