The permanent exhibition Earth. Life. Story. includes nearly 8,000 scientific exhibit items, which tell the development story of planet Earth from the beginning of the universe until the modern day. At the exhibition, you can explore the traces of life from millions of years ago, admire shiny minerals, watch the so-called night airport of butterflies, or track the movement of the placoderm fish from the Devonian era. You can look the first jackal caught in Estonia in the eye and experience the human body through the eyes of a reptile. Visitors will be glad to see the favourites of several generations: the elk, bison, and giraffe. We also have live animals, such as the Python Regius, a turtle, a green iguana, and many other small exotic animals. See you at the Natural History Museum!
Would you like to listen to the sounds of the forest or hear your own thoughts better in silence? Then come to Võru County to a fir forest by the RMK Pähni Nature Centre where you'll find forest megaphones – three gigantic wooden megaphones with a diameter of three metres, each named Ruup.Ruup invites you to read forest sounds and offers hikers a possibility to rest their feet and their minds. Here, you can sit, sleep, think and listen. You can select between a small and a large view, depending on which direction you look in the Ruup. Ruup is an open library with only one book – the nature.
Käbliku Brewery is a small craft beer producer located in the forests of South Estonia, at Käbliku Farm in Põlva County. Services you can order include: Brewery tour and beer-making introduction Tasting Beer Barrel sauna The tour and introduction to beer-making lasts about 15-20 minutes. We will show you all the main parts of the brewery and explain why they are needed, and how they are used. Tasting gives you the opportunity to try our different beers. The standard package includes tasting 10 different beers and lasts about 1 hour. We have various types of beer, and you will see how much craft beer can differ from mass-produced beer. We talk about the characteristics and the history of the style of beer being sampled. Beer can be purchased in cans or by the case. In the barrel sauna, you can relax in the hot water generated during the beer brewing process and sip cold Käbliku beer. Accommodation is available through the nearby Käbliku Farm Holiday Homes, allowing you to enjoy our services during your stay.
The longest river in Estonia, the Võhandu River, is calm when it reaches Räpina, and therefore it was probably the most suitable place for building a unique mill complex comprising three mills.The flour mill is a massive stone building with a large winch on the top floor for lifting bags. The original doors and many other details integral to the overall design have been preserved. The flour mill was built at the end of the 18th century.

We invite you to visit Rooswald Red Winery, where rustic blueberry wines are crafted using our farm's own cultivated blueberries. During the tasting, you can sample wines made at the winery and hear the story of how a lucky coincidence in 2016 sparked a passion for winemaking and eventually led to the establishment of Rooswald Red winery. Every year, we experiment with new recipes and improve existing ones, making each wine unique and unparalleled. The quantities are small and available only at the farm. Metsa Farm is home to one of Estonia's oldest cultivated blueberry plantations. During the visit, we will walk through the plantation, talk about blueberry cultivation, and the birth story of Estonia's first cultivated blueberry variety 'Are', which is named after the first name of the owner of Metsa Farm. Metsjärve Holiday House is located in a beautiful pine forest in Puskaru village, Põlva County, on the historical Postal Road. Saesaar reservoir with Lonny has become the favourite of many; this trip is taken repeatedly with family, friends or guests from abroad.Sailing takes you to the fairytale of nature: a lake with dark waters, sandstone outcrops with sand martins and kingfishers, who nest there, pondweed floating in the water, a family of beavers and their daily activities.The trip lasts 45 minutes; we will talk about the nature, legends and the formation of the reservoir. The ship has a café that also sells souvenirs.The riverboat embarks from Saesaar harbour on every hour between noon and 6 pm. Friday and Saturday trips include catering.
