Raadi Park is one of the best examples of park design in the history of Estonian manor parks. The park was designed by Reinhold Wilhem von Liphart and by Peter Joseph Linne in the 1840s. In the early 20th century, the park was redesigned by Maximillian von Sievers and Moritz von Engelhardt.In the upper park – a part of the historical Raadi Manor Park – the original design is largely preserved. Next to the lower, English-style park, the Dendropark of the University of Tartu was established in 1923, with an emphasis on species richness. This part has a network of paths that divides the park into smaller parts of different shapes.

The Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum, located in the center of Tartu, is the largest and most modern interactive museum in the Baltics. Every sports fan will feel like a winner! In the summer of 2020, the Otepää Central Square and Flag Square dedicated to the Estonian tricolour got a new look. The Central Square is illustrated by Bruno Kadak's bronze sculpture – the fountain 'Fun Ott'.There is a well-known belief around the world that throwing a coin in a fountain brings happiness, but when coming to the Otepää fountain, you have to scratch the bear's rear paw.The Flag Square has one of the highest flagpoles in Estonia. Next to the Estonian flagstaff are pavilions and information stands telling the story of the flag. Kirna’s 6.8 km study trail provides a good opportunity to explore the Pedja River meadows and forest. To gain a better view of the meadows and river, the Altmetsa Farm has an observation tower. A suspension bridge helps to cross the river. On the right bank of the Pedja River, you will find the magnificent oak tree Musutamm. The trails of wild boars and beavers can also be seen on the study trail.While on the trail, you might hear gunfire as the Kirna Training Centre of the Defence League is close by. The access roads to the meadows intersect the study trail in several places, please carefully follow the trail marking!

Just 20 m from Lake Peipus, there is a cosy place for organising smaller and larger events. Here, Lake Peipus has a sandy bottom and is therefore suitable for swimmers and surfers. Active holiday lovers can enjoy a volleyball court or rent bicycles.The camp site next to the lake is perfect for camping and parking your caravan. We offer accommodation in the main house and small family houses. It is possible to fish in Lake Peipus in the summer as well as in the winter. During the winter period, we offer safe transport to the lake on snowmobiles if you order in advance.
