Männikjärv hiking trail offers wonderful views of Lake Männikjärv and the bog surrounding it. The hiking trail enables you to walk through a boreo-nemoral forest; the 2.2 km trail is suitable for a beginner. The trail is marked with red signs on trees, and it takes about 1 hour to complete it.Good to know:- During high water, parts of the bog are impassable.- For staying at Männikjärv, organising a public event for more than 20 people and driving an all-terrain vehicle, you must first apply for a permit from the manager of the protected area – Estonian Environmental Board.

The popular Väike-Munamäe Ski Resort, or Munakas, which slopes offer enjoyment for athletes and challenges and possibility to improve one's skills for beginners. Eight slopes, all with various length and descent ensure excitement and security at the same time. There are two hills with T-bar lifts and a hill for children as well. The longest slope is 630 metres. In addition to sporting possibilities there is equipment rental, ski service, restaurant Munaka Resto and various events. Munaka hill tickets are valid on Kuutsemägi hill as well.In summer you can enjoy nature views while riding the chairlift, hurry down the hill on a bike or rent an E-bike. We offer you an archaic and rustic smoke sauna experience directly on the slope of Obinitsa. The use of the smoke sauna is generally included in the room price. From the smoke sauna, you can dive directly into the refreshing barrel sauna and enjoy the healing beauty of Setomaa nature vis-à-vis. The smoke sauna tradition is one of the most special in the region. Heating the sauna is a long process that lasts several hours. Once the last smoke, or "karm," is released from the heated room, the true sauna enjoyment can begin. In a well-prepared smoke sauna, the air is clear and light, the steam pleasantly soft, and health-restoring. A beacon is a lighthouse with a visibility of less than 10 nautical miles. The height of the beacon is 11 metres and the height of the light is 14 metres.In spring, the famous icebergs of Lake Peipus can be seen here.
