The campsites and camping area of ​​the Tartu County Health and Sports Centre offer an idyllic holiday among Elva's beautiful pine forests. Our cozy 4-person cabins, 6-person cottages, and spacious camping area are perfect for families, friends, hikers, or for organizing camps. Public showers and toilets are located in the main building, where you can also enjoy breakfast with a reservation. There is a barbecue area for relaxation, and for active recreation, there is archery, shooting ranges, disc golf, hiking trails, and fat bike rental. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy an active outdoor vacation! The Tartu County Health and Sports Centre is waiting for you!

Kisejärve hiking trail is 6 km long and runs along former horse roads and swamp borders (rubber boots are recommended). The hiking trails takes you past several lakes, valuable nature and bog communities and you can also see the results of the activities of beavers.

Just 20 m from Lake Peipus, there is a cosy place for organising smaller and larger events. Here, Lake Peipus has a sandy bottom and is therefore suitable for swimmers and surfers. Active holiday lovers can enjoy a volleyball court or rent bicycles.The camp site next to the lake is perfect for camping and parking your caravan. We offer accommodation in the main house and small family houses. It is possible to fish in Lake Peipus in the summer as well as in the winter. During the winter period, we offer safe transport to the lake on snowmobiles if you order in advance.

Põltsamaa Castle has been an important site throughout the centuries and carries a distinguished history – founded in 1272 on the riverbank, it was the residence of Magnus, the King of Livonia, and later evolved into a magnificent Rococo palace. Wars and fires left the castle in ruins, but now it has come back to life and is waiting for you to visit! Today, the castle offers visitors plenty of excitement. First and foremost, it is worth climbing to the viewing platform of the seven-story castle tower, where a captivating view of the city unfolds in every season. The tower is crowned by a restored historical dome, which is unique in all of Estonia. The church, located within the complex, is built directly into the castle's fortification walls and tower, and is open daily during the summer. The convent and gatehouse feature a modern exhibition that tells the colorful story of the castle and the town of Põltsamaa. In the castle courtyard, craft workshops await, where you can watch the work of masters or purchase something interesting yourself. Kiviranna Holiday Village, on the shores of Lake Võrtsjärv, is ideal for families, friends, and nature lovers. Kiviranna offers accommodation in a holiday house and a guest apartment. We also offer camping and special caravan sites for hikers. The holiday village also offers sauna lovers the opportunity to use an igloo sauna or a hot tub. From March to June, the café offers delicious smoked fish. Catering for groups can also be ordered. As an additional service, ordering a guided bog hike or a sailing trip on the lake is possible. Located in a scenic location, the Pedaja Holiday House offers the possibility of using a two-storey house that can seat 30 people at the table, and the upper floor accommodates 10 people. If you wish, you can go to a car and smoke sauna, enjoy the company in a cosy hot tub, and stay the night in one-, two-, or four-bed camping houses.Pedaja Holiday House is ideal for family vacations, camping, birthday parties, outdoor activities, and other gatherings.Guests with campers and caravans are also welcome at Pedaja Holiday House.

Hotel Aleksandri awaits you on Aleksandri tänav in the heart of Tartu, a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. We offer rooms of different sizes and price classes on three floors. Guests can park their car in the car park in the courtyard.The Aura Waterpark, the AHHAA Science Centre, the Vanemuine Theatre, and several shopping and entertainment centres are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The Bavarian-style restaurant-pub Aleksander is located in the same building as the hotel.At Aleksandri Hotel, you will find a cosy atmosphere and a friendly and caring staff.

The camping site has places for 50 caravans. The total area of our caravan site is 2500 m². Every vehicle has access to one power outlet. For our guests there is also a service house with showers, toilets, sinks, washing machine and a stove. We have fresh water supply and toilet emptying options. Reception is open from 8 a.m until 9 p.m. If needed, you may use our telephone and internet. The whole camping site has WiFi. We will organize dinner parties with cultural program if you book it in advance. On request we will take you on a trip to South-Estonia with a guide.
