Weaving a chipwood basket is the most popular attraction in the wooden handicraft centre and if there's a place in Estonia where this craft is known, it's Avinurme. Everyone can learn the basics of weaving a basket in the workshop with the help of an instructor: you pick out chipwood, weave a berry basket from the chips and finally apply a finish. All the participants will be given the necessary tools for weaving a basket and at the end of the workshop you have your own basket.We have seen the most genuine joy over something made with your own hands in the basket weaving workshop.

A summer rafting trip is comfortable and safe; moreover, it also suits those who otherwise do not have much faith in boating trips. This is a fun activity for everyone who wants to enjoy a rafting trip in a larger group. It is also suitable for families with children.The raft can hold 7 people, the larger one can take 9; in addition, children can sit in the middle. There is no danger of going overboard. You can also take breaks during the trip in order to have a snack on the river banks.Sights of the Võhandu River include: watermill rapids, sand walls, hidden caves; animals: minks, otters, beavers; birds: ducks (romantic couples, mothers and ducklings), kingfishers, falconiforms hunting for ducks.

The hike takes us through the beautiful Emajõe-Suursoo bog, where we spend the night in the wilderness on a secluded bog island. In the evening, we will prepare dinner on a camp stove, using as many seasonal forest products as possible. We will spend the night in hanging beds with a magnificent view of the sunrise! In the morning, we will have a light meal, take down camp, and hike across the bog to the end point. A local guide leads the hike, which includes the guide's service, equipment (bog shoes, hanging bed, camp stove), and meals (breakfast and dinner). Bring your pet along! Enjoy the good company of friends and the beautiful nature of Estonia. Our captain will take you by the speedboat to the Emajõgi-Suursoo delta at the Peipsiveere Nature Reserve, which has beautiful nature, several rivers and lakesthat are rich in Estonia's different animal species.In addition to the captain, the speedboat can accommodate seven people. You can begin the journey from the River Ahja in Lääniste, or arrange to start from the River Emajõgi in Kavastu village in Luunja county, or another location that suits you. Elistvere Animal Park is a special place where you can learn about wild animals living in Estonia in their natural environment. Lynx, moose, bison, foxes, wolves, and more await you here. A 2-kilometer educational trail leads to an observation deck where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Elistvere and an abundance of birdsong. Elistvere Animal Park has a visitor center where you can meet small domestic animals and see the exhibition.
