The viewing platform at Tehvandi's ski jumping hill is a unique attraction. From a height of 34 meters, watch ski jumpers training or competing or just enjoy the view. There is an entrance fee, and the platform is accessible by stairs or elevator. The viewing platform, which is part of the Tehvandi K90 ski jump complex, is 218 meters above sea level and offers a view of the city of Otepää and the surrounding landscape. We organize fatbike hikes in Taevaskoda year-round. From spring to autumn, we ride along forest trails on the banks of the ancient valley of the Ahja River. In winter, we also stop by the ice of Lake Taevaskoda. The most famous places on the route are Suur- and Väike Taevaskoda, Neitsikoobas Cave, and the Kiidjärve water mill and manor park. The tour runs most of the time along beautiful forest trails in the varied landscape of South Estonia. The tour is suitable for anyone who is at least 150 cm tall. The pace is calm, and we take breaks to catch our breath and chat every 15-20 minutes. We talk about nature and local attractions. Taevaskoda has a rich history and cultural heritage; it contains sacred places and springs important to ancient Estonians. This area is known for its sandstone outcrops and magical forest trails. Compared to our smaller location, Cruffin at Tartu's Town Hall Square, there is more space here, a calmer atmosphere, and the opportunity to truly relax.
