Kaldemäe Hostel is located between the hills and slopes of beautiful Haanjamaa and it is an ideal place if you wish to have an active holiday in nature, breathe clean air and be away from city noise. The territory of Kaldemäe Farm is large and wide; there is a big pond in front of the sauna where you can enjoy water delights, and a village-style swing for children.There's also a fireplace hall that seats 40 people, that is a perfect place for birthdays and smaller parties. The sights and leisure time possibilities of Haanjamaa are only one and a half kilometres from Kaldemäe Farm: you can go for a hike on Mountain Suur Munamägi or find an activity at the Haanja Holiday and Sports Centre.

The Pikksaare hiking trail begins at the swimming and camping area by Lake Pangodi. While walking along the hiking trail, you can enjoy peace and idyllic views of the lake and the surrounding nature and make a short detour to the War of Independence Memorial. The directional signs placed along the trail will help make the hike smoother. The hiking trail passes the Pangodi campfire site, where you can take a short break, as there is a shelter, a barbecue area, a nice swimming spot, and opportunities for camping. Jõesuu Tourist Farm campsites are located in a beautiful natural setting right on the shore of Lake Võrtsjärv and are ideal for families, small groups of up to six people, and pets. The cozy cabins offer simple yet comfortable accommodation in the heart of nature, where you can enjoy peace, lake views, and a pleasant holiday. Guests have access to a separate shared kitchen equipped with necessary supplies and laundry facilities, located just a short walk from the camping cabins. The recreation area by Lake Pangodi is a popular holiday destination, offering a variety of opportunities to enjoy nature. In the holiday complex, you can swim, camp, and make a campfire. The large lawn by the sandy beach has a children's playground with active holiday elements and a volleyball court. At the beginning of the recreation area, there is a parking lot that can accommodate up to 30 cars. The Pangodi camping area is by the lake, where you can find three campfire sites with canopies and benches. Along the Pikksaare hiking trail (1 km) starting from the car park, you will reach the Pangodi campfire site, which is about 500 m from the crowded camping area in the Pangodi park forest. Be respectful to nature!

The Soontaga hiking trail is located at Kiidjärve-Kooraste recreation area. The hiking trail runs along the typical Southern Estonian mixed forests and arrives at the Väike-Emajõgi river. The hiking trail, which can be completed on foot, runs in a circle.There are several information boards at the hiking trail, which describe the nature of the area. The beautiful bodies of water at the hiking trail are equipped with bridges. In addition to the hiking trail there is the Soontaga campsite with campfire places at the recreation area.If you visit the hiking trail during the season, you might find forest berries or mushrooms on our journey.

Kisejärve hiking trail is 6 km long and runs along former horse roads and swamp borders (rubber boots are recommended). The hiking trails takes you past several lakes, valuable nature and bog communities and you can also see the results of the activities of beavers.

Udu Farm is a lovely holiday complex on the shores of Lake Kuremaa. The historical Palamuse and Kuremaa castles are just a few kilometres away.Guests have the use of 12 cabins, a sauna, a large party building, 4 covered areas, an extreme plastic film sauna and a children's play area. You can also rent the sauna complex, which has its own kitchenette and which accommodates 12-19 people on the upstairs level.Boats are available for hire and you can go fishing on the lake.
