Decide who starts – the first player chooses a color. Then look out the car window and search for things in that color: cars, houses, signs, and anything else you can spot.

The first player says a word, and the next player must say a new word that starts with the last letter of the previous word: “rabbit”, “tree”, “egg”, “grape”, and so on. If someone makes a mistake or takes too long, the next player picks a new word to begin.

The first player chooses a color for the smoothie, and everyone names something of that color to put in it. If someone accidentally names something of a different color or takes too long, they have to pretend to drink the smoothie and say in a silly voice: “Mmmmmm, delicious!”.

One player thinks of an object, animal, action, or place. The others ask yes-or-no questions to figure out what it is. Once someone guesses it correctly, it’s the next player’s turn to think of a new word.

The first player starts a fairy tale with one sentence, and everyone adds their own sentence in turn. For example: “Once upon a time, there lived … and …” and the next person says, “They were driving through the forest when suddenly…” – the sentence can also end mid-way for the next person to finish. The story gets sillier with every turn!

Pick an animal, and everyone takes turns making that animal’s sound. After each round, you can decide whose sound was the most realistic – or the funniest!

Choose someone to be the Whisper Master for the drive – they can say “Whisper!” at any moment, and from then on everyone must speak in a whisper. If someone forgets, everyone says “Shhh…” together and continues whispering. When the Whisper Master claps once, you can talk normally again. Choose a new Whisper Master at the start of the next drive.
