Elva Song Festival Grounds

Elva Song Festival Grounds, like every other one, has a symbolic and sacred meaning in preserving the Estonian national culture and song festival tradition. While singing together with others, one feels unity and the joy of Estonian freedom.
Elva Song Festival Grounds is located in the centre of Elva, near Lake Arbi in a pine forest. It is not only for song festivals but also a beautiful place for concerts and parties.
The Song Festival Grounds was built in 1951.
On 8 August 2015, a memorial to the Estonian choir conductor and teacher Ants Sööt (8 August 1935 – 17 October 2013) from Elva, who is buried in Elva Cemetery, was erected at the Song Festival Grounds.

Restaurant Hõlm

Hõlm is a restaurant with a first-class menu and high-quality service. The kitchen delights with memorable dishes — every detail is carefully thought out, prepared, and served. The restaurant's open kitchen makes the dining experience particularly special, allowing guests to observe the fine art of cooking firsthand. Many recipes come from the 1925-1926 collection written by Lydia Grünmann Holm, who also inspired the restaurant's name. Small visitors will love the playroom. Mooska Smoke Sauna Farm in Haanja, Võrumaa introduces the heritage of smoke saunas preserved and honored in Võrumaa, which has found a rightful place on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.By appointment, the tour lasts about one and a half hours. Visitors explore 3 distinctive smoke saunas, learn about smoke sauna traditions, bath whisks, whisking, hear sauna words, and taste meat smoked in the sauna. The smoke saunas are located by the pond, at the edge of the forest, and the setting is beautiful and typical of a modern lifestyle farm. The tour ends at the farm shop enjoying sauna supplies and food souvenirs.
