The Upper Härma Wall, also known as Keldri wall, is Estonia's highest Devonian sandstone outcrop. At 150-metres in length, it extends to a height of 19 metres, compared to the valley's edge which reaches a total height of 43 metres. Lower Härma, or Kõlgusniidu Wall, is also close by with a total height of 20.5 metres. Lower Härma, a projecting rock face, is arguably one of the most beautiful walls in the Piusa Ancient Valley, well-known for its brightly coloured layers of clay and majestic pyramid shape. This beautiful area has the added benefit of being host to a fantastic campsite for those wanting to make campfires, located in the meadow at the bend in the river.

The Soontaga hiking trail is located at Kiidjärve-Kooraste recreation area. The hiking trail runs along the typical Southern Estonian mixed forests and arrives at the Väike-Emajõgi river. The hiking trail, which can be completed on foot, runs in a circle.There are several information boards at the hiking trail, which describe the nature of the area. The beautiful bodies of water at the hiking trail are equipped with bridges. In addition to the hiking trail there is the Soontaga campsite with campfire places at the recreation area.If you visit the hiking trail during the season, you might find forest berries or mushrooms on our journey.

La Dolce Vita is an Italian restaurant which opened its doors in 2003. Its Italian owners serve up traditional dishes from their country. Its pizzas are made in a wood-fired oven which is unique in Tartu, and there is a wide range of pasta dishes to choose from. Some pasta is imported from Italy, while the rest is made on site. The menu also features traditional meat dishes. The quality of La Dolce Vita's menu is reflected in its simple, authentic components: Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, tomatoes and olive oil. In the summer months you can enjoy the warmer weather on the restaurant's terrace. The farmers of Andri-Peedo farm started raising goats in 2009, and in 2017, the most modern goat farm in the Nordic countries was opened. We have a spacious goat shed, a hay dryer that is unique in Estonia, a high-tech dairy, and a cosy farm shop. Because we offer good living conditions and the best food to our goats, we are able to offer high-quality goat milk and cheeses which several top chefs prefer to use. Andri-Peedo Farm Shop sells fresh goat milk and cheeses made in our dairy. In addition, we also sell handmade products from other small businesses in the area.

On the quiet Veski Street, on the hillside of Toomemäe, anyone who has a sweet tooth, should pop by the Cake Shop Mandel, where the counter covered with delicious cakes is set in a cosy atmosphere and each piece of furniture and dish has a story to tell.Here, at the cosy cake shop Mandel, mouth-watering pastries are made from the produce of local small farms. In our delicacies, we use unrefined sugars and there are no additives in the cakes of Mandel. Our cosy cafe is waiting for you with delicious coffee and cakes. It is also possible to buy or order our pastries to go. We also make delicious savory and sweet pastries for your party table.
