Männikjärv hiking trail

Männikjärv hiking trail offers wonderful views of Lake Männikjärv and the bog surrounding it. The hiking trail enables you to walk through a boreo-nemoral forest; the 2.2 km trail is suitable for a beginner. The trail is marked with red signs on trees, and it takes about 1 hour to complete it.Good to know:- During high water, parts of the bog are impassable.- For staying at Männikjärv, organising a public event for more than 20 people and driving an all-terrain vehicle, you must first apply for a permit from the manager of the protected area – Estonian Environmental Board.

Wooden house at 24 Lai Street in Tartu

This baroque-style one-storey house, which has an attic floor and a rectangular floor plan, catches your eye when you walk past St. John's Church in Tartu. It is one of the oldest surviving wooden houses in the city. It was constructed from logs in 1725 by Pastor J. Arens Arensite of Nõo upon his return from exile to Russia. It was renovated in 1987.

St Michael’s Lutheran Church in Räpina

This church, dedicated to the archangel Michael, was completed in 1785. It stands on the shores of a man-made lake in Räpina and enjoys beautiful views over Sillapää castle and park. The walls of the church, which was constructed in Late Baroque style, are made from rendered natural stone. The front of the church is adorned with sculptures dating from the time of its construction, which symbolise Hope and Love.One of the church's most valuable assets, the two-part altar painting entitled 'The Appearance of the Risen Jesus to Mary Magdalene' and 'The Burial of Jesus', was painted by Carl Antropoff in 1871.

The teemaja (teahouse) in Mustvee is a cosy place in the capital of the Peipus region, where good tea and local food and drinks are offered. Spring rafting on the Rivers of Võhandu and Piusa

Rafting trip takes place during spring freshet. On the trip, we'll be using simple new rafts - one for 7 and another for 9 people. The rafts are easy to steer and row. Correct technique is taught at the beginning of the trip. There is no fear of falling overboard and rafting through the rapids is as fun as jumping up and down on a water bed. Your guide is going to observe the trip from the river banks and will assist you if needed. If you wish, the guide can join you on the raft.Sights: mill dams, sandstone walls, river views, hidden caves, water animals and fowl; by the Puisa River, there are also the ruins of a castle.Size of the group: 6—25 people.Final price: based on agreement between you and the organizers.Additional info on Võhandu: MAP
