The starting point of these tracks, which are 4 km from the centre of Võru, is at the ski centre at the Kubija Hotel. The tracks measure 2, 3 and 5 km and are lit until 20:00 from Monday to Friday.
Tartu Snow Park offers a total of eight hectares of sled and tube tracks – a true snow paradise. During winter, visitors can enjoy well-maintained ski trails that start at the Tartu Marathon finish line. The total length of the ski trails on the Tartu Marathon route extends up to 63 km, with 800 meters of illuminated trails, allowing skiing even late in the evening. The ski trails are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. All necessary ski equipment, including rental and maintenance, is easily available at the Elva Ski Lab, located just a short drive away. Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre is an ideal place for an active winter holiday, offering sporting challenges, beautiful nature, and memorable winter experiences for every visitor.
The nature trail connecting two cities runs along the banks of the Pedeli River. The asphalt trail is 5 km long. If you find yourself on a boardwalk in the middle of the path, you have already crossed the border. Take the time to climb the stairs to Pudrumägi hill, which offers a wonderful view of the twin cities! There is no rush here – there are children's playgrounds, outdoor gyms, a beach, a recreation area on the peninsula, and even dog parks by the trail. The best ski trails in Central Estonia are waiting for you in Kuningamäe, Põltsamaa! There is a 1.5 km illuminated trail, which has become very popular among skiers. The track is illuminated until 9 p.m.There is a choice of trails of different lengths: 1.5, 2.6, and 5.7 km. If the weather is good, there are both classic and skate skiing trails. The trails have both natural and artificial snow. We provide high-quality and consistent trail maintenance.During the snow-free season, the Kuningamäe Health Trail is a favourite among runners, walkers, and cyclists. The Kuningamäe Disc Golf Park is also located here!
The 63 km track of the Tartu Ski Marathon starts from the stadium of Tehvandi Sport Centre in Otepää and runs to Elva through Väike Munamägi, Matu, Harimägi, Kuutsemägi and Palu. The 31 km track starts by the Arula crossroads. The official finish of the track is in the Tartu County Recreational Sport Centre in Elva. The track section between Tehvandi and Kääriku can be used from the second week of February until the end of the winter season.Interesting facts: * the wooden sculptures of the biggest open air theme park in Estonia, Maajumalate Park, are near the track.
Lähte ski trails are located in Lähte small town, 15 km from Tartu.Ski trails are accessible 24 h for free. Lähte has four ski trails in varying lengths: 5 km, 2.5 km, 2 km and 1 km. During the winter, the ski trails are lit until 9 pm. You can also use a 1.25 km trail with artificial snow. Next to the trails, you find a watch tower. Showers are available in Lähte sports hall nearby.
